The building next to my house caught fire on the 4th of July a few years ago, and since then I’ve been weary of the fireworks aspect of the holiday. I don’t think the issue is large firework shows by the state being fired over bodies of water, it is airborne fireworks being fired in dense urban environments.
The New Year's drone display over Edinburgh was the best sky show I'd seen. I enjoy fireworks, but now we have better options for the environment, and those sensitive to explosions.
My pets, soldiers with PTSD, wildlife, and other are traumatized by the loud sounds of firecrackers and other fireworks. The sulfur odor is noxious. The debris creates litter that is difficult to pickup. The fire is dangerous to people and to the environment. Drone light shows are creative and interesting without the difficulties of a fireworks show. The cost is higher, yes. But, the cleanup is not in the financial mix.
I love how we pat ourselves on the back for not doing fireworks and using drones and for building electric cars, while ignoring that it still requires massive power resources, natural gas and oil to form all the plastic parts, and mining for lithium in order to build the batteries for the drones and the cars. Also I am sitting here typing and there is a drone show in a nearby city, but the entire town I live in is currently being covered in a bank of smoke from people in every neighborhood for 50 miles shooting off consumer grade fireworks. But we think switching one show to drones is going to save the planet. LOL
I think the main concern is adding to it doesn't help. If China cared more about their pollution, fireworks would be no big deal. We can't make excuses just because "China and volcanoes make CO2..." We aren't helping by adding to it.
More than anything else, I find the greatest weak point of drone shows is that they feel _soooo slow._ The wow-factor of fireworks is the sudden burst of motion and energy, and that's not something a quadcopter can replicate. The drones themselves need to evolve to become competitive, with models that are faster and more acrobatic.
It’s just an explosion of colorful fire nothing too special about them beautiful but we get to only use that once or twice drones on the other hand we can use them as many times as we please not just on 4th of July I think imo drones are better
The noise is a problem. I'd rather a nice show that isn't so smokey and loud. I like the idea of adding drones with some sparklers, but I really don't care for the explosives all over town. It would be more fun if it was contained to just one area, but it's freaking EVERYWHERE, and it would be nice if there were more shows to avoid all the noise and smoke.

Or, wait for it…..we can do both!

You sound fun at parties.

We're so spoiled. It's better for the environment and animals, but nah, we need explosives.
Drones are better
Prove it.
No it isnt.
Drones are fkn Retarded. Quite simply
Gotta feel and hear that boom ! 😊
Our dogs hate 4th of July.
@@oneolddog8809 yep.
@@Sarappreciates I have one that barks and the other is quiet.
@@Sarappreciates so do mine. Go to the vet. Get your dog some relax medicine. Take em potty before dark. Let them sleep go Have fun. Fk the drones
Anyone worried about fireworks and the environment has their priorities wrong. Look up how many new coal plants China opens a week.
Just because you sh*t all over the floor doesn't mean we all should.

😖🤢🤮 Drones SUCK!

@@tyronesfireworksstudioshow7560I think this isn’t an either/or situation. We can do both! Do your drone show, the launch some fireworks
