    The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) had initially announced a moratorium on loan EMIs for 3 months from 1 Mar 2020 to 31 May 2020 but has now extended the same for three additional months. Therefore, the total moratorium on loan EMIs period which started on March 1, 2020 now extends up to August 31, 2020.
    The EMI moratorium provided would mean that if you have Home Loan EMI, Car Loan EMI, Personal Loan EMI, any other Term Loan EMI or even Credit card dues, you can avail the moratorium of upto 6 months announced by RBI recently. This facility is by all major banks like HDFC Bank, SBI, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, PNB etc. However, the interest to be paid is not waived off but accrued and will become due to be paid later.
    In this video we will find out if it is beneficial to avail the EMI Moratorium and make an informed decision through an EMI Moratorium Calculator.
    भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक (RBI) के द्वारा ऋण EMI पर मोरैटोरियम की योजना, शुरू में 1 मार्च 2020 से 31 मई 2020 तक 3 महीने के लिए की घोषित की थी लेकिन हाल ही में इसे तीन अतिरिक्त महीनों के लिए बढ़ा दिया है। इसलिए, ऋण EMI अवधि पर कुल मोरैटोरियम जो 1 मार्च, 2020 को शुरू हुआ था, अब 31 अगस्त, 2020 तक विस्तारित कर दिया गया है।
    प्रदान किए गए EMI मोरैटोरियम का मतलब है कि यदि आपके पास होम लोन EMI, कार लोन EMI, पर्सनल लोन EMI, कोई अन्य टर्म लोन EMI या यहां तक कि क्रेडिट कार्ड बकाया है, तो आप को हाल ही में RBI द्वारा घोषित 6 महीने तक के मोरैटोरियम से ब्याज भुक्तान से राहत मिल सकती है। यह सुविधा HDFC बैंक, SBI, ICICI बैंक, Axis बैंक, PNB आदि जैसे सभी प्रमुख बैंकों द्वारा दी गई है। पर इस योजना में भुगतान किए जाने वाले ब्याज को माफ़ नहीं किया जाएगा, बल्कि अर्जित कर उसकाभुक्तान बाद में करवाया जाएगा।

    First, we have to understand that moratorium is EMI holiday and not EMI waiver i.e. EMI will only get postponed. Additionally, interest will accrue during the EMI moratorium period which will get added to the outstanding Principal.
    RBI has said clearly that if an individual takes the EMI moratorium, it will not be considered a default, so no penalty will be levied and credit score (cibil score) will not be impacted. For banks, asset classification will not be downgraded.
    RBI has given three options to pay your dues:
    1. One-time interest payment after moratorium period is over
    2. You can increase your EMI outgo keeping the loan tenure as same
    3. You can increase your Loan tenure keeping the EMI same

    Sir calculator me thoda error hai, total pending EMI hai vo change nahi ho raha hai , vo koi bhi time 250hi dikha raha hai, our increase EMI me bhi sem EMI rehata hai , i think formula misplaced ho gaya hai , ye sirf aapki information ke liye hai , so never mind🙏🙏

    No one is saying that just keep money safe with you just for three or four months n if you r not in crisis after that simply pay of lumpsum. Why every one saying you have to pay hafty amount afterwards. Even home loan interest is lowest these days. Sir plz guide properly.

    This is all Calaculations (which is superb) ...but what about value of money now and after some year(say last3-4 installment) You should add this also to this Calaculations(take approx 1% depreciation in money)
    For ex 100 rs value in 2020 is more than 100Rs value in 2030

      Yes Shubham you are right, time value of money is ignored to make calculation simpler. But yes, that can further be added in the calculation.

    Sir maine march to may moratorium liya tha(in the suspect of financial problem) but maine EMI ko continue jamaa karta rha to kya mujhe bhi jyada interest dena hoga.
    Mera outstanding amount km ho gya h after paying continue emi (march to may) plz clear my doubt...

    Mr.Yogi, what would u suggest for people having under construct flats and are paying EMIs, through repo rate home loan and possession in 8 months. This way they can accumulate some cash for GST+Registry+Furnishings and later on go with the increase EMI option. Your take on that?

    During the 6 months moratorium period, what interest would be accrued - Simple or Compound?
    You mentioned that there is not enough clarity on this subject. But how is it in the case of education loans where moratorium periods generally exist.

    Aapne galat calculate kiya hai. You need to look at time value of money too. Not just total money paid.
    4 lakh extra paid over 15 years might be better than 2 lakh paid today. You see.

    Tell me, how to get mutation certificate? Document writer is saying ki humne fee deed krate tym hi pay kr di now mcd will mail you. But no mail received so far. Deed ke time jo mutation charges pay kre unki b receipt koi ni hai...aur jb maine khud se apply krna chah for mutation online toh wo property ka upic maangta hai.
    Previous owner property tax offline pay krta tha so uss pr upic mention nhi hai...aur name and location se bhi m not able to find its upic, दिल्ली नगर निगम ki receipt se upic pta chal skta hai property ka?

    If aap credit card pr statement ka payment nh krte toh apko current outstanding pr penalty lgegi according to banks interest .only apko other fee nh lgegi i.e late fee and cbi pr impact nh pdega.i.e apka current statement 5k ka hai or statement generate hone ke baad apne 25k ki purchasing ki toh complete 25k pr penalty lgegi . it's better ki aap pay kr de jitna jada pay kre

    So let suppose i invest 15000 SIP every month in equity for 10 years and it generates a profit of 50% annually and then it became ₹3600000 and if i sell fund of 1000000 then will i get the profit of 50% on 2600000 (SIP Further continues).?

    Sir Mera Loan SBI me he , Muje 1 sal bad kuch paisa lagane wala he , muje suggest ki je ki agar me abhi me EMI amount ka FD karata hu to or muje FD pe 9% Interest he, to kya muje EMI paid karana chahiye ya FD continue karana chahiye

    Sir, agar moratorium 3 months ke liye fir se extend ho gya hai, to hame EMIs ke remember sms kaise aa rhe hai, jo ke 2nd june ko due hai????

    I am not availing moroirium option my issue is __keeping same Emi I am not getting benefit whenever bank rate changed by RBI _. Effect of same should be given by reducing repayment schedule SBI not passing benefit. Pl clerify

    Hi sir mere loan Ka EMI me sirf interest hi ja Raha he principal Nahi cut Nahi ho Raha he ,is situation me kya Sahi rahenga .

    Hi sir first comment I have taken gold loan for 120000 for 3 yes my emi is 3903 per month interest rate is 8.25/ so sir if I opt for monotorium from June to Aug then how much interest more I have to pay please calculate I m confused need help

    If we have opted Moratorium period with option of tenure extention but paid bulk of amount as a part payment in regular interval, Do still we need to pay large amount of accumulated interest during Moratorium period as you have calculated?

    Hello sir,
    At the time of taking personal loan interest rate was 14.25%, now while selecting moratorium for 3 months the rate of interest showing 24%.
    So I am confused regarding this can you the clarification plz

    Sir I have taken credit card moratorium of axis bank during April and paid the emi 19000k. But I talk to customer care he say me moratorium period increase August 2020 and will be given payment between after August total emi with interest. But I’m not paid. Why? I have not t&c known that time. Plz help how can increase time period.

    Suppose me 6 months ka moratorium le leta hu aur me EMI same rakhu uske bad suppose meri total EMI years 25 ho gyi but mere pass agar paise ka bandobas ho jaye aur me 5 years k bad pura loan bhardu to ye 6 months ka moratorium lena sahi ya nahi?

    मैं बीआरकेजीबी राजस्थान बैंक में गया था परंतु वह एमआई लेने के लिए तैयार नहीं है जबरदस्ती मोरटोरियम थोप रहे हैं क्या करूं बैंक वाले कह रहे थे कि यह ऊपर से ही बंद है हम क्या करें यदि आप अपना एएमआईपी करेंगे तो वह एडवांस माना जाएगा जब तक ऊपर से ही यह माई ने काटी जाए ब्याज सहित जमा नहीं हो सकती

    Bhai ... moratorium service activate ki toh interest utna hi lgega jitne pr loan liya tha i.e suppose 10% pr loan liya toh same interest lgega.or emi 12 ki over na ho kr 15 months ki ho jaege agar 3months ke liye apply kiya hai toh

    2 lakh lone ta, aor 8410 EMI ta, aor Lockdown ke time 2 month ka nhi kar paye, ab uska 3 month ka EMI increase kar diya, kya ye Rules ke according ya hmasye (Home credit india) company extra charge laga rhi h

    Sir mera home credit se loan hai 1 month nahi de paye next month me 2 month ka ek sath de diye hai. But bank se 590 and 590 2 times kat gaya hai. Wo wapas kaise hoga. Bank ne mana kar diya ki wapas nahi hoga. Kya kare
