- The last video reviewed the work to lay the foundations of the observatory.
In this video, the walls, the steel outrigger, and the roof are framed! As part of this, the track was laid, and the wheels mounted onto the roof headers.
We've had some quick progress in the last week and the observatory is starting to take form!

Looking Great! Thanks for Posting the progress. Very Interesting watching it come together!
Thanks so much! I appreciate you watching!
Wow! Impressive building. What a great observatory once finished! Mine looks like a doghouse in comparison 😂
Thanks much! This has been a long time coming after many years of setting up in the driveway! If your observatory lets you avoid that, it's golden - whatever its size or finish is!
Looking good Patrick! It will all come together very quickly now after that very long wait 👍
Thanks, Kevan! It is kind of surreal to see it coming together after planning it for so long!
Wow, it’s really coming on now, starting to see how it will look, loving following this journey with you…great video as always..👍🏻
Thanks - it does seem to be moving fast now!
Goals right here, thank you for the detailed updates, it's exciting from this end I can't imagine how this feels from your end!
Thanks so much! The project is proceeding rapidly, and I am currently working on a new video showing the completion of the roof, cladding of the walls, and testing of the roof opening. So stay tuned!
What size roll off is this? Must be a pretty decent size to accommodate four mounts.
The building is 16 x 20 feet in size.
