  • The Kailasa Temple is the pinnacle of Indian rock-cut architecture. An entire mountain has been carved out to make this amazing Hindu temple dedicated to lord Shiva. Archaeologists and Historians think that it was built around 750 A.D by the Rashtrakuta king Krishna I.
Thousands of Pallava sculptors from Tamil Nadu were transported to build this temple, who created the masterpiece of Dravidian architecture. This temple is supposedly carved to resemble Mount Kailash, the home of Lord Shiva. It is also called as Kailash and Kailasanatha temple which makes cave 16.
0:01 The view from outside, notice that there is a balcony above the entrance.
0:45 Ravana is ready to cut off his tenth head, after offering nine of his heads to Shiva
1:12 Life size elephants adorn the lower portion of the temple. Many of them were disfigured by the Muslim ruler Aurangzeb.
1:59 Top view of the temple
2:07 Shiva as Veerabhadra slaying the demon Andaka. Note that he holds a container to prevent the spilling of his blood on ground, which would have created many clones of the demon.
3:11 Shiva rises from Lingam to destroy the Yama, who is the god of death. Markandeya is shown as a child hugging the Lingam.
3:20 An amorous couple hugging, a monkey (?) is also carved.
    3:28 Lord Narasimha disembowels Hiraṇyakaśipu
4:10 An inside view of the temple's main entrance
4:26 A lovely sculpture where kids play with a cow. A mother puts a child directly under the udder to give milk.
4:51 A gigantic flag post (Dhwajasthambha)
5:13 Shiva releases an arrow, while standing on a chariot.
5:43 An elaborate mandapa which is bat infested and not well maintained.
6:43 Ravana shakes the Kailasa mountain and disturbs Shiva
7:03 A kissing couple disfigured by the Muslim ruler Aurangzeb.
7:24 Shiva performing a cosmic dance
7:52 A series of sculptures of deities and a demon.
8:23 Entire Ramayana carved on the wall
8:33 Lord Varaha with a stylized boar face holds Bhudevi up
    9:13 Three romantic couples.
9:44 14:16 16:15 17:35 20:14 20:35 21:15 I do not know the story behind these sculptures. May be you could tell me?
10:02 A series of disfigured elephants and lions.
10:33 Ravana tries to pull out a Lingam from the ground.
11:33 This is considered as the Sanctum Sanctorum, you can see the main God (Lingam) inside the chamber.
13:15 A rare carving of Shiva as a beggar. This form of Shiva is called Bhikshatana.
13:44 A panoramic view of the temple
14:54 Lord Vamana puts one foot on earth and the other on sky.
    15:42 A woman passionately hugs a man.
15:50 Shiva carved inside a lingam. This form is called Lingodbhava.
16:33 A bridge is carved on the second floor to connect 2 mandapas.
17:07 Lord Brahma is carved, this is a rare occurrence.
18:38 Vishnu breaks a demon's bones. What is the story behind this?
19:10 Lord Krishna lifts mount Govardhana
19:31 An episode from Mahabharata Follow Me on:

Pataliputra was a bigger city than Rome at that time. There is no ancient alien. The knowledge is in antiquity but the Indian civilisation was at the peak of its classical period. People of the west are not educated about the Indian civilisation because of lot of bias and prejudice. India had an uninterrupted 1500 years of classical period from 500 BCE to 1100 BCE. Right from the onset of philosophers like Buddha till the Eastern Ganga dynasty of Konark. In the middle , it had two golden periods one in the Mauryan times and another in Guptas. In the south it had reached it's peak during the Cholas and the Pallavas. Many people love greece and rome but they are not educated in the Indian civilisation. Even many Indians don't know. People should be amazed to know that India had over 12 major ancient universities the biggest being at Nalanda and the oldest in Takshilla (as old as 800 BCE). It also produced some of the greatest mathematicians like Aryabhatta, Banabhatta, Shridaracharya, Brahmagupta, etc.

I am of the opinion that Indian civilisation stretches much further back than 3500 years.. A conservative estimate in modern archaeological terms is about 28,000 years.. however I feel it goes back even much further back.

The small square/circular holes in some of the rock facings looks like pins would have been placed inside, wood planks laid across giving the carvers a platform away from the rock allowing them chisel more effectively, top down chiseling, as they carve downwards the majority of the pin hole marks would be chiseled out, as the Carvers got lower and lower the fallen rubble could act as a ramp leading up to the rock facing until they reach the bottom where they then remove the rubble and have the finished products. A giant task indeed.

I just thought of a crazy possibility the underground tunnels that you described probably where outlets for the exhaust pipes from some spaceships. is it possible that the whole Temple descended from the heavens or wherever outside and solidified after the fall on earth because of the pressure and the gases in the atmosphere because many of the carvings look so impossible to understand

Hi Praveen. I want to add the following points for your examination :
    1. Is it easier to carve an existing structure or is it easier to build a new structure from the scratch? I believe if aliens did the above work, then they thought it is easier to carve an existing mountain rather than bring all the machines to build different parts for the structure.
    2. Today, we already have 3d printers that can print miniature models of cities. Is it possible that the machinery used to build this temple was a giant 3D printer? Which means the model was already done on a computer with fine details. The giant 3D printer just printed, or carved the mountain, as per the computer design.
How else is it possible to make such a giant structure in such a short time.?

Tarea imposible hoy en día se asimilan a los cortes egipcios pero estos en india son más antiguos. solo pensar que una montaña labrada es alucinate. algunas veces he hecho cortes de roca una tarea dificil mis respecto para esos contrutores.

The proportion of the size of the carvings I feel are true to life and not an exaggeration...like so many ancient cultures and religions, there were giants in the lands in those days. Off spring of the Watchers who kept not their first estate, saw and desired the daughters of man, came down to earth and took them as wives, thus creating men of renoun, the nephilium. And they came they brought with them forbidden angelic knowledge... one of which was working with stone. These hybrids possessed unimaginable physical strength!! These creations are written about in every ancient culture and many were worshiped as gods. They also corrupted animals and thus the half man, half beast creatures. Genesis 6.....

@phenomenal travel, idk which video but I've seen you were describing something in statues that looked like 'PINE' and then you compared it to some gear/machine.
    Well.
That pine shaped thing is symbolic of the all important gland 'pineal gland' that releases the elixir of life when activated. That pine shaped object in that statue's hand, represents the pineal gland and pineal gland has been represented in mysterious ways such as 'eye of horus'.
I appreciate your work but you are doing one Biggest mistake in your interpretation. That mistake is, you are ONLY looking at the ONE side of the coin that is the PHYSICAL/MATERIAL side. All these modern scientists do the same so they make up their conclusions, theories based on the third dimension which is the physical plane of existence which is the low vibration dimension. You must understand first of all that all these statues, all the cultural traditional epics, stories, the characters within them are NOT literal figures, and should not be taken literally but instead they carry a hidden spiritual message, a a part of instruction to the immortality through meditation, to achieve the magnum opus.
    That's all.

Interesting to note that the average westerner (orthodox "believer") fails to accept that these were built by Hindus a few hundred years ago (just prior to the Islamic period in India)
Their orthodox beliefs and poor schooling one sided (pro white pro Greco roman )history teaching (brainwashing )is the cause
The Hindus had over 5000 years of cultured existence prior to foreign invasions and they had all the time to develop their own unique way of construction processes .Huge number of skilled artisans following ancient texts transformed the plans of the architect into reality
It takes a broad mind and a world view and deep study of India to reallly appreciate this which is after all a HUMAN achievement and not some alien one

You are correct, May be the world was very different and advanced when these monuments were built and people then were very intelligent. Even just looking at the site we can figure out.

The only conundrum I see here; They either had plenty of time to do those because there were no technological advancements such as mind
Numbing media? Hey and what was the motivation? Beer and bread? It’s a real Puzzle that will never have all the real pieces! So they were technologically advanced because they didn’t have any modern technology to stand in their way? Or they have everything and are only interested in the cultural aspects of life?

We have to remember that the Ellora caves are 3 eras in one. 1. The ancient builders who created the main caves, 1st of the structures AND statues. 2. Ancient Ramayana with murals and statues 3. The parasitic idolatry of the Buddhists who spread like a plague to destroy, hide and deface. 😗Overall there are statues and other artefacts that do not in any way shape or form commit to being of one era et They are within themselves distinct.😗 Many Indians et will tell you the caves are Buddhist caves. They are NOT. Any Buddhist idolatry is of a much much later era than that of the original ancient builders caves, structures, statues et 👀The interpretation of the contents of the caves is also very questionable. Do NOT believe some of the 'stories' re what certain artefacts/murals/statues are representative of. 😗Many statues are referred to as Buddhist OR represent aspects of Buddhism. ONLY as per the viewpoint of that individual or individuals NOT necessarily the truth at all. There are some ie statues that are NOTHING to do with Buddha OR Buddhism. 😗I'm not knocking Buddhism or Buddhist beliefs, I want to emphasize that they were a very parasitic race who used warrior monks to enforce their teachings? Many sites were clearly taken over by them AND the defacing of, hiding of; original structures et was very apparent. You pray to Buddha.. uhh no, you bow to the statue the idolatry that is liken to visual propaganda. 😗HOWEVER, how many other so called 'religions' do exactly that?

especially the kailasa temple! the back wall is easily over 100 ft. The chisel theory needs to go away. its like me finding lost scissors and lawnmower in a apt complex and I come to a conclusion that whoever built it MUST have built it with these tools and nothing else. They actually just like the Egyptians found paper and inscription describing the math used and why it was used. BLUEPRINTS PEOPLE!!! Definitely intelligent cultures have lived before our time. Just in the 150,000 year span we've been anatomically modern the earth has gone through 4 glacial periods. and 2 were very violent on the switch over causing cataclysm on a world wide scale. Not too crazy to assume if the same thing happened to us that all or most of our beloved technology would vanish, and if there aren't enough scientist to recreate it, it will become a lost technology. just like what may have happened to that of the ancient world.

Definitely it is not constructed by non technical men, infact I believe the people and technology then were more advanced than today's modern men
