I frequent this cafe often for its quiet ambience. There are some Japanese customers. This is within the business district. Mainly frequented by customers working around the area.

I've been there several times pre-covid and I must say that their food is really good!
Yes I like their food too but I would be hesitant to pay for cold Ekiben. If only they can heat it up and serve on a plate haha

Great video as always, Ghib-san! Funny story, I actually worked at the JR Cafe for a while as a travel communicator and Sue used to be my boss. Seeing the restaurant and the food really gave me a lot of nostalgia

While watching this my only wish was they are Halal ekiben. It looked so delicious... "Eating the whole salmon family" had me laughing lol! Beautiful cafe and worthy of a visit, especially for those missing Japan. Thank you for the good video and thank you JR Cafe.

海外に暮らしていると、日本食のすごさっていうのを感じますよね。日本にいると当たり前のことなのに・・・。繊細な味付けだったり、下味の絶妙さだったり、日本食の奥行は本当に世界に誇れます。ギブさんは今回のロケできっと「郷愁」だったんだろうかと。シンガポールの視聴者にもJREカフェの魅力が伝わったのではないでしょうか。駅弁、やっぱりいい文化ですね。再確認できました。

oh btw ghib there's a very good tuna restaurant there called kuro maguro. pricey, but imo it is worth it. you should give it a try if you're craving nice tuna in singapore!

The best ekiben I had was salmon hakozushi from Shin-Osaka Station on the way back to Tokyo. The JR Cafe looks like it'll be on my visit list and I wish JR East gets to run some of the retail operations on some of our MRT lines.
インターンしてた時目の前に会ったので数回行きました！帰国して東京駅にも同じものがあり驚きました！！

なぜ東日本がシンガポールにカフェ持ってるのかわからないけど、すごい日本を旅したい気分になりますね！
JR東日本はアジアでの事業展開のためにシンガポールに事務所を持ってるので、海外事業展開のモデルとしてシンガポールでJRカフェやジュエル出店などをしているんだと思います。
There is a Japanese restaurant nearby called Imakatsu and i think the katsu is really good there!
P.S. are you interested in exploring the west side of Singapore?

2:00 青森りんごシリーズのふじがあるなんて！！JR東日本のグループでプロデュースしているジュースですが、日本のどのリンゴジュースよりも美味しいのでオススメです！

Good job, Ghib! Full house! All the seats inside and outside were occupied and long queue at the entrance during lunch today. Have the photos but no option to post photos here. Food was good and the ice cream parfait was nice too. By the way, is there a way to make your videos less shaky? Cos my family watches your videos together but my wife gets headaches when the video moves to fast and shaky. Thanks and more great videos! :)

Please try out the Japanese curry rice @ABC Food centre at bukit meeah it always super duper long queue at affordable prices, give it a shot if your looking for more japanese curry food

went there today and the Hafu Hafu rice was sold out :< was abit disappointed but it's potentially due to the lunchtime crowd before us. Would highly recommend their curry rice as well as the salmon ebiken, the quantity is really value for money
