$500 a square foot? That's outrageous. Then you need to get it permitted so that you can put electricity and plumbing into it. Not a good for showing in my opinion. If this was up on top I'm at all Hill or even a mountain, it might be interesting. Lots of fresh air. But not without a pot belly stove for a fireplace. I won't make any further comments.

It is a lovely home but if you live in a cold climate, that would not work with the open living. People would steal you blind with everything open like that.
Definitely would enclose the house, call me crazy but I like that feeling of locking my doors at night and not worrying about strangers making themselves a meal in my kitchen while I’m asleep. Did I miss a front door or is there just not one???
Nice curb appeal, bedroom, floors and kitchen. I would probably enclose the open air portion with glass. Also liked the music.

I have a tiny house with an open porch, which I am planning to enclose with windows or sliding doors that can close on windy/rainy days. It’s necessary for year round use, if there’s any rainy/windy days.
This concept is good for a farm house building it in a large land with super secure place. I love the design tho.
I have raccoons in my neighborhood. They would love that I would share my kitchen with them. I wonder what it would look like in the morning after they raided it!
This is a fantastic design and could easily be modified for areas that have all 4 seasons!!

Great use of space. Like others would substantially reduce the amount of glass exterior walls and use partial glass walls for the outdoor part of the floor plan. Do love the design, too!
Can u add windows and glass enclose the open areas? Can you build this in Boulder County, Colorado…weather it will withstand.
It needs walls wall's around the kitchen and a deck built for outdoor living. All I can think of is animals and insects invading my kitchen.
As a creative, kudos to the designer for an innovative creative concept and exquisite selection of finishes. This would function well at a fully staffed beach resort or as a private and gated Airbnb, just not as residential home due to security and privacy issues.
I love this home, but I'm a security minded person who finds it too open and welcoming to intruders. - Price is not bad at all.... nice work!
Where would you have to live in order to be safe and actually live in this house? Oh, I know, enclosed in an airport hanger! You would have to be sweeping and vacuuming spider webs out of the corners every day. Your most frequent guests would be possums, racoons, rats, squirrels, and bunnies...wahoo! What fun! Oh, and put in a bird feeder... Oh and have plenty of wasp spray! They will love this place! And what about the laws on the books where someone can move into your house and you can't EVICT THEM!
Exactly how long do you think this house would STAY BEAUTIFUL with the squatters, vermin, and bugs.... And the leaves and grass clippings from the neighbors yards, carried in by the wind.... And lest I forget, a few birds nests....
PERFECT! CAN'T WAIT TO MOVE IN!.... And have my TV stolen...I give it a week, tops.

There was found space for utility hookup . I liked the house so much I would like to just enclose it within a shell add a new roof and sides. I liked the interior walls flooring

Lovely design but where I live I would not like the snow in my kitchen nor would I like being bit to death by all the bugs in the warmer weather. No thanks got to have walls. They could be glass.
If the house is going to be that open you might as well live in a tent. Nothing is safe and it will be gone in one day unless your living in eutopia.

Exactly! Clearly, this is a computer generated design that's conveniently removed the dust, sand, dirt and debris that will require daily (if not multiple times a day) cleaning. The design at its core is decent, but totally impractical for the average family, especially as a main residence; but I wouldn't even desire it as a vacation home because of all the open spaces not able to be locked up whenever the family wasn't around. With electrical outlets for the refrigerator and other appliances, I'd have to officially have power turned off everytime I left my home. Sadly, the world isn't the utopia we'd like it to be.
Lovely place, but maybe consider security like having walls/ half walls with glass windows or grilles.

I love these small homes but not so much cause there's just to many windows. Love sunlight. But i like windows up higher where sunlight can come through but not where i feel like im outside. Call me paranoid ir whatever but being inside is more ofa safety feeling. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Much as many people like it but I wonder if they had it and maintained it? All the animals that can come inside the kitchen. Bee/wasp nests. Cute birdies make itself home on top of the fridge. Bears sitting on the couch playing cards with foxes. How cute! :D Open air homes are a bad idea. Might as well be camping. Only you can prevent stupid ideas! Smokey the Bear told me so. Love the design, only if it was enclosed with actually walls. :D
This would be fun for a weekend like air Bob, but I sure wouldn’t want to live in it! What protection from people just walking into your house? Outside is gorgeous but the inside too dark; bathrooms especially are too utilitarian for my taste.

I would make that outdoor area a sunporch like glass at all in and then put French doors at the end!
I see doors to the bedroom and bathroom and I am sure it’s a way to stop intruder from coming in. It wouldn’t bother me as long as I got my gun and a no warning shot sign and survive will be shot again is a good warning for an intruders.

Not really excited about I'm not into modern style homes. Give me a miniature log cabin and we'll talk. Something with a fireplace in-room to cook! The kitchen is marginally better than a motel.

@@amyporter5765 U have to think also of all kinds of flyes around,( mosquitoes) speciallty when cooking. Or heavy showers/ winds too. Very important cons to think about.
@bg8206 Definitely true for where I live! That's why I always look at these with an eye for how it can be modified for my area. This one is very easily modified for a 4 season zone.
I don’t care what people say a compost toilet is disgusting in this day and age. Who wants a bucket of black water hanging around your house. Where does the water come from . Black water must produce water as it’s breaking down. Then I heard someone say just dig a hole in the yard and let it go in there. How much filthy could that be. No wonder tiny homes are looked down on with the odour from them . I would agree to an insinuating toilet. You just end up with ask.

So you wake-up some morning and a stranger just took a shower, put on your clothes and is sitting at the table eating your food. This makes my head hurt. I just can't!
Lovely! Just hope we don't have any psycho neighbor lurking at night. I could go hungry in the middle of the night and I don't wanna see anyone already sitting by the dining table injecting poison into our food.

It's beautiful. But here's how my brain works:
1. I hate dusting!
2. A climate that doesn't snow, and doesn't need air conditioning in the kitchen? Is there such a place?
Are the beams and columns made from wood?
Can this be achieve by painting the concrete beams and columns?

House has me very confused. It looked Ike the bedrooms and baths had their own home separate from what looked like a small kitchen and living area.

I am interested in the same kind of house with another bedroom and laundry room with a lot of storage for the clothes for the time of year in the room closet and the rest is really nicely laid out in the laundry room with 😅 plenty of folding room and a tanning bed

This design is crazy. No way would I want an open living room/kitchen combo. While I'm sleeping, someone could be out there cooking a meal, lounging on my furniture and getting high afterwards, oh hell no!!!

How do I find out who builds these houses
It’s cute but it’s not realistic because having all the open space what if there’s bad weather or if there’s intruders
I can’t find any builder information. Are they only selling the models? (That’s what the link takes me to).
This house is only good for warm countries. Won’t be comfortable for winter….too open
