I like a churn dash block, it is so classic. I have the Year in Solids Book, and I love your Christmas version. Thank you for the inspiration. Hope to see yours completely finished soon.

These would be so cute with your mini-blocks in the center.❤

I'm so inspired. I want to learn how to quilt but have no idea wear to start. Need a beginner quilt video from start to finish. Love 💙 your videos.

That December quilt in your book is so beautiful. Could you possibly show all these quilts one of these day when you get time? And I love your Christmas Quilt too. I don't know how you get everything done that you do! But I'm glad you do because it's such a great help and inspiration to all of us who follow you. Thank you Jessica.

Thanks for the video. I think I'm going to try your way of making a block. I see how it saves fabric if making 1 block. Talking about the strip piecing. I normally do WOF then you have left over strip. You already know how I love the way you explain the why's you do it.

The “Year in Solids” book is also available via Amazon online shopping. I recently purchased a copy. It’s very nice.

I am always worried about my attention span with same block quilts esp in solids. But your churn dash scrappy, I can get behind that. especially the red and white version. Thanks for all your challenges and instruction.

Love churn dashes. So simple, but they just look so.... classy??? Your red and green is beautiful! I don't know a color combination that they don't look good in though, lol.

Thanks for the clarification on the straight stitch plate. I just got a new machine that came with both, and Wonder what the importance of the other plate.

Try one of those shavers to seam rip very fast and no harm to fabric

For me, I didn’t know what you were going for from the beginning …how the block will look…. Maybe this is for more intermediate sewers. I couldn’t tell what you were trying to make till the almost end. Hope this is helpful as a teacher,,,
