- D23 Horizons Experience Showcase was everything I wanted and more. New Villains Land, Cars Land, Monsters INC. Land, New Parade At Magic Kingdom, New Encanto Attraction, and so much more. Walt Disney World got so many new park announcements and I am here for it. Horizons Disney D23 Horizons + Fortnite Showcase 2024 was so freaking cool.

The Parks “Panel” is hardly just a panel anymore. This is a full-on production! Wow! 😮❤
1:33:43 Epic Universe is the reason that you’re getting these announcements. Universal put pressure on Disney to perform, and because of that competition we now get the best of both worlds. Universal may have its problems, but you gotta thank them because in a way they contributed to why we’re getting these announcements.
And they still won't come near what epic and universal are doing

Seriously, Disney knew how to use Deadpool during the presentation… they allowed the character to admit the criticisms that fans have had for the last couple of years, and this was all about addressing those issues… wish I was there in person, because this was like a rock concert 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I noticed none of the Disneyland Forward announcements were made. Methinks that’ll be a huge D23 2026 focus. So happy with all the announcements. WDW got some love this time around! I’m thinking this’ll be because DF isn’t ready yet and WDW needed some hype to compete with Epic Universe.

With Epic Universe coming to Universal, WDW had to go big or it would have become a ghost town. Right now WDW is the “same old same old” so I’m glad to see the new developments on the horizon.
we need more lands, more merch like sweaters, hoodies, dolls and all that stuff.

Like the video Jojo but I don’t believe the hype. Lot of it still is Blue Sky. I do believe Animal Kingdom will happen but it’s just another overlay on an old ride. Beastly Kingdom was never happened at AK. I’m not holding my breath. Disney is spending too much on the cruise lines, Disney + and not enough on Disney World IMO. Years later and they still have 3 half day parks

I don’t mean to be a downer but I didn’t think they needed to go into a musical number after each announcement. I was cool with it in the beginning to start it but then it felt too excessive

The entertainment was what made this event. Best announcement was avengers campus add on and monsters inc everything else was eh and will take way longer then they say. And i hope Disney better not mess up Deadpool.

Thanks for your coverage! I wish I had gone this year. This is great. I go to SDCC every year, and while that's a different beast, this would've been great to attend! Looks very chill without hearing security and line managers yelling every second to keep walking and the lines are capped 😂

Watching an arena full of grown adults going crazy at 41:30 absolutely made me die 🤣🤣. Man cmon, it's a frickin slow moving water ride! "I"M DOWN! I'M SO DOWN FOR THIS!" 🙃. The more Disney keeps coming out with these little kiddy rides, the more they're gonna lose their theme park fanbase.
For real. Disney needs another thrilling roller coaster -- something that can compete with Universal's Velocicoaster or any of the Harry Potter type rides. Disney's becoming a total bore for me. Haven't returned there in 2 years.
Thought the same thing lmao. I thought the crowd would be silent after the announcement of their 100th water ride-through attraction. I agree that Disney is losing it's flair. I don't sense that "magic" or even excitement at the parks anymore myself.
I thought the news for the new attractions were pretty good ngl. Although I MUST say, they do have to tone it down on the water rides and all these ride systems that they keep recycling over again with new layovers. The new Monsters ride def looks interesting, but like most of Disney's rides, it's prob gonna be a massive let down.
