I have a 15" R seires Alienware gaming laptop with an I9/3080 config. I have recently paired it with the V12 due to heating issues while gaming. Running at 800 RPM prompts me to use my headphones, but so did the laptop in standalone conditions, once the internal Cryo cooling tech kicked in. Great review...
Hello, thanks for the video. Did the v12 really help reduce the GPU and CPU temps for the Legion 9i? I thought that cooling pads weren't good for the 9i because of the fan direction.
I have an alienware m18r1. Debating about getting one of these. Dumb question…. When you blast that much air in, would you think it “could” damage the internal fans, meaning the air forces the fans to spin faster…or even cause them to back spin?
This is why I continue to question the market for gaming laptops. All the reasons you need a laptop are negated to accommodate the high-end CPU/GPU configurations, cooling, power requirements, etc. Im honestly shocked they even build them with a battery anymore. Thats not even taking into account gaming laptop price points. To have to add a cooling solution like this to maintain proper running temps is not worth the perceived advantages. Sorry for rant. Great content aa usual.
@@MrTekSuggest is that your go to legion 9i or just a sample you use for with LLano v12 / v10 ? I wonder if you can explain that the air sucks from top of keyboard for legion 9i and are you sure by having llano v12 pushing the air from bottom it wont' cause issue blowing the intake air from top?
@MrSouthSioux this is just my use case but for me I just want something powerful enough to play my games at high frame rates when I’m say at my home or staying somewhere for a while plugged in but then for travel I bring my Steamdeck since all the games it can’t play are ones that need wifi anyways but I would also use the laptop unplugged as a general use case pc for example I could use one as a media device as in movies and tv shows since I got a usb dvd player but I can also use them as portable monitors since I don’t have a proper one but I do have a capture card
Preach it to crApple and their ventless mockbooks that are forced to perform all this processing power with no real cooling other than their aluminimum chassis. It’s also why despite crApple being severely anticonsumer with their refusal to make repairs easier, Louis Rossmann still has good business fixing them…
Hey sup bruv. There is this Aicheson cooler that's like an exact clone of the LLANO cooler but 40 dollars less. Has the foam seal, high rpm fan and everything. ima get it next week or week after that. Im dome with my laptop being an industrial heater
Most flagship gaming laptops have hinges that lift one side of the laptop up to make a bigger gap for air intake. This cooling pad wouldn't work with them unless you modify the foam to fill up that gap 😅 A high end cooling pad for middle range laptops... Smh...
Hi, im looking for an old video of your setup with Govee with the hidden cam, but I can find it anymore, I even bought all the items you mentioned in the video, can you help me out? thanks

it'll be interesting to see how much better the normal cooler will perform with foam added to it

The gift and the curse. If only a rig could fit into a travel bag

I'm using v12 for gaming and deepcool x6 for silence. 😊
En el min 5:28 que son esas dos paticas que tiene pedaga tu laptop donde las puedo comprar

That's some cooling😅
Just stop making performance laptop thin
If something target to unleash performance , make it thicker and give proper cooling and power module
