@@lewis72 - Try and find a mechanic that'll entertain doing an engine swap on a vehicle of this age. A lot will decline engine swaps on any vehicle over 5 years old, especially if you're fitting a scrapyard engine. These are unmaintained vehicles if you bought them with the engine issues, you'll look around and find many other issues that need rectifying due to them being unmaintained. Suspension issues, tyres and brakes all gone etc.
How often have you been told not to chew on boot laces before you start to speak. Loved the intro, it showed the world that you are human after all ;-)
Hi Kev, I know that "top" road from Shaftesbury to Blandford, its horrible, there is an easier way out past Compton Abbas airfield and across to Ludwell and out onto the A30 towards Salisbury or vice versa, go to Ludwell then turn right, upto the crossroads on the top of the hill, straight over and out past the airfield, thus missing the nightmare in the dip.
Love your videos, love the cars. Makes me wonder at the cars being scrapped 😮 enjoy the tight spots, you show a very good attitude. Keep it up, and keep the up the content! Cheers
As an ex-resident of both the Blandford area (Winterborne Stickland) and Chippenham town, it was great to see both in your vlog. Spread Eagle Hill was fun to drive down and up on cold, dark, wintery nights - certainly not for the fainthearted 😀😀 Great vlogs, keep them coming.
Some nice bungalows leading to your second collection som property looked like cotswold stone.. The yellow writing is that done by you on getting there..? Sad seeing these modern cars being scrapped.. Whats your present Project car presently..?
Maybe Sadiq Khan should set up his own TH-cam channel doing this. He would not have a day off.the amount of vehicles hes scrapping. Another fantastic video kev .
I’m amazed how local you work to me, I’m in melksham and if I knew about Trent’s earlier I’d of used you guys to scrap my polo that was originally bought as a track car but head gasket went
That part of the top Shaftesbury road can be a bit of a squeeze 😂 plus plenty of wagons have got stuck on that climb back up it’s not the nicest road but does have some nice views 👌
Yeah it's a lovely route if you don't meet anything too big and the hill can be a killer if you don't hit it at the right speed in the right gear, we've had a scania recovered off the hill with a blown clutch 👍
Hi Kev. I drive a Scania XT P320 26t beavertail, love the sound of the 5 banger. I find the gearbox is superb and leave it performance mode, it always seems to be in the right gear. Just wondering why you use manual mode and not leave it in auto? Keep up the great work buddy 👍
Your little incident reminded of my brother who delivers animal food to farms met a woman on a narrow lane in Wales after a bit of a standoff ended up getting in her car and driving it past his own truck 😄
You got to love going through Melbury Abbas, used to go through it with my dad in a 7.5ton box truck to Model Railway shows, one truck we had we caught a tree branch sticking out and I missed it, that was the start of a nightmare trip to Glasgow SECC, ended up with me bump starting the bloody thing in the middle of the SECC!!!
@KevTee... Dinah's Hollow...an absolute ball-ache!! The sooner they make it one-way, at any one time, through those traffic lights the better... it only takes a 7.5T and a van and its game over.. PLUS as soon as one vehicle moves they ALL pile on in thinking its now clear..but it aint..lol. Salisbury next time, Kev..
Cracking vlog. It seems logically wrong to load top deck 1st regards stability of your veh. After several months of viewing I totally understand why. When you have top deck loaded, do feel any real bad cornering issues, or does the truck weight counterbalence that?
Yeah always necessary to load the top first, if we loaded the bottom we wouldn't get nothing on the bottom. When the top deck is loaded it doesn't make a lot of difference, got to be a bit careful not to go into tighter corners too hot but you mostly don't notice 👍
I saw a candidate for your tender care develop on Saturday night - a black BMW nutter job flew past on the M1/M6 link north bound - then started to lay down a smoke screen that would have a made a WWII destroyer envious. Now if only he could have rolled over the brow it's almost a perfect downhill roll to your Rugby depot, which would have saved everyone a whole lot of work.......
Yep I know it as Spread Eagle but I'm not sure why, I know many years ago it use to be a motersport hill climb venue so I don't know if it had anything to do with that.

while I think you might be right with cambelt on the Kia, for no compression could be piston rings, piston met the valves, a valve not seating, a broken valve spring, timing of the valve opening, or anything. I suspect it is belt because they need changing more often than a chain, a chain should should last more than 100k, and even then the engine is tested to destruction before giving reccomendations on when a chain should be replaced.
Yeah could of been any number of thinks with the Kia, I just went with the mosh obvious. Your right about chains, my CRV is on 270k and the original chain and still going strong 💪
There’s a caddy lad twitching for those touran seats and door cards
The red Golf, the Audi convertible, the blue VW people carrier, and the white Kia Rio all seem to be too good to scrap.
Definitely, if you can find similar cars that have been stuffed then do an engine swap.

Ahhhh a Stickland local, I use to live out Whitechurch, small world eh 😂
Crazy to think that is the recommended HGV route for south bound vehicles!
Yep, it's bonkers especially when you meet another truck trying to seek through against the advised route 😂
Some challenging roads there.xx
Brilliant vlog as ever kev
Enjoyed the video Kev..Start/finish..Excellent ..Gd Man
Cheers Mr B, appreciate the kind words, not quite as technical as your daily shenanigans, keep up the good work 👍
@@KevTee good man...Have a fabulous bank holiday..thank you

Another stonking vlog kev, some people have no clue how to negotiate a truck but you got past in the end😂👍
That last hill reminded me of my Mk5 transit Di in Wales down to second gear for some😂

Didn’t think your truck was sounding too well mate? Sounds as rough as that red Golf 😂
Haha I'm glad it's not mine and I don't have to pay for the maintenance 😅
Your little incident reminded of my brother who delivers animal food to farms met a woman on a narrow lane in Wales after a bit of a standoff ended up getting in her car and driving it past his own truck 😄
Absolute madness nowadays, far too many buffoons to deal with....
Thought your lorry was a automatic kev
Another great video has always kev 👍
Yep it's auto but sometimes it's necessary t drive the truck in manual mode like climbing steep hills 👍
Great video as always, hope you enjoyed Swanage carnival :)
Hey Greg, carnival was great as always, hope you had a great day 👍
Really nice to see Station Hill in Chippenham Kev my family live right near there I walk past that Train Station a lot
Great video, Kev. I’m sharing this one with my daughter 🌞
I would save the blue BMW Estate

Mexican stand off in Shaftesbury!
Too i love your videos
Anyone else noticing 10 years is a modern cars life span.🤔
Kevtee is monday too day
How many gears you got?
Low range?
Rev band I think is 800-2900 or used to be in older trucks 🚚
A lot of peeps won't understand I think 🤔
It's a 8 speed auto and yes it produces its most torque between 1000rpm and 2500rpm 💪

Hey kev how are you see u next Monday
Hi kevtee you keep kia reo for project
The bit near Shaftesbury I've been told is called Spread Eagle but I don't know why. Has anybody got any ideas?
Yep I know it as Spread Eagle but I'm not sure why, I know many years ago it use to be a motersport hill climb venue so I don't know if it had anything to do with that.
Where was the warning for the close up hot shot 😂
😂😂😂
Are you aware of any car transporter driver ever going over the stop guards for the first car over the cab?
I have seen it happen years ago in New York when I was at the hire car place at JFK picking up a car. A transporter was dropping of brand new cars for Hertz but somehow one fell off.
I'm not aware of it happening whilst loading but I know it happen from hitting the brakes hard 😅
Why do you have 2 sat navs??
The TomTom is the company satnav used for truck telematics but I hate TomTom for navigation so I use my own Garmin satnav 🤞
Is it just me or do cars or last so long? Find it amen they’re effectively sold for parts / scrap at 100,000 miles!
Your right, newer cars don't seem to be lasting ad long as they use too, 100k seems about average nowadays.
keV the Kia rear car why don't you keep it for your self project car for your self
