sounds about right for a Citroen dealership, my suspicion is timing related issues, as know it is about 500-600 labour. then deciding that the timing isn't the fault so not charging the customer for the timing belt as it is removed, but still want payment for the labour. great video Kev.
I so would love to be doing your job I’ve been driving for over 31 years and I used to use a recovery truck and loved every minute of it. But being able bodied and disabled no one would take me even though I used to go and get cars on a recovery truck. Love the videos keep them coming

Can’t believe some of the cars are still good and people are scrapping them. That Skoda has to be worth £3 or £4K of anyone’s money even with those MOT fails. People have more money than sense 🙄
@@01jvbAnd it’s on AutoTrader now for £3,700. Probably the lady was quoted an insane amount for the brakes and the body damage by a main dealer or a genteel London garage and didn’t want to pay to fix and have ULEZ.

Classic Mazda 6 2.2D failure - blocked oil strainer seizing the engine. The worst diesel engine ever made was the 2.2D! Meanwhile my 2007 2.0 Petrol is still going strong with a fresh MOT.
but a lucky new owner it seems, if car engine been looked after the engine just broken in as seen lot those reaching crazy miles like 400k,500k miles look after them and reg servicing and reg oil changes no reason why i could not hit 400-500k if not more miles. if new owners away from these fraud zones he got a car what last a very long if looked after. seen a breakdown of old taxi with 400k it a4 diesel if im right oil change every 6-7 k miles, the turbo only show wear of about 120k just shows reg maintenance and reg oil changes can really protect the engine and its parts

These drivers are amateurs at this really as you can still drive many cars even with very serious mechanical faults as demonstrated on many high streets in the UK now but the key is to use a very heavy accelerator pedal action and to fill the boot with large quantities of oil and coolant bottles and an optional fire extinguiser
