    Thank you for the link to this video, Shane. I really found your tutorial to be valuable! Yes, God Bless Keith Whitley and Alison Krauss for making this song one of the greatest country songs of all time. 👍👍👍

    Great job 👍..breaking this song for beginners. A lot of teachers act they are afraid to sing along with the lesson. But it helps tremendously. Rather than just throwing a bunch of chords without a vocal reference to go by

    That was an awesome display for people to understand. It's simple and should be shared without complicated things. U done really well on explaining music to so many who thinks it's hard to do, but I loved the part when I said ur ears will pick up, because everyone doesn't have that gift, but if they keep playing then they will eventually hear. Thanks for taking ur time to share something that was meant to be shared and I'm not talking about the song. I'm talking about the beauty of music. It's the most powerful thing in the world that can change a person's feelings will one chord.
    Just remember that God put the talent in ur hands so that I could share it. We owe him all the glory.
    Sincerely bennie.

God bless you Bennie. All the best!

    Hey Brother Shane, thanks for the heads up on some of the picking on Keith’s DONT CLOSE YOUR EYES. I’ve been playing since 8 years old. Now at 64, I’ve mastered quite a few songs. Not bragging because me and the drummer placed rules in our band, No Egos, bragging, drugs/alcohol/ cussing on stage or your out. I know what I know, learn from it. Basically “Always learning” my home is basically a guitar shop. 45 plus guitars. Now I build guitars. (Brent’s Custom Made Guitars) from a plank of wood till finished and set up. Their like children, raising them and eventually sending them out in the world. An instrument that will be here long after I’m gone. Anyway! thanks again for the chord progressions. Hope to see ya around.
    Keep “in tune”
    Brent Bazzell

    is this in standard EADGBE tuning?

    • @countrymusicguitarclassics
      @countrymusicguitarclassics  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it is. If you don't have a capo to put on the guitar, you can tune your guitar down a have step. For example E would become an E flat etc. That would a way to play it without a capo.
