I truly missed the spectacular lantern festival in HoiAn, the thrill of walking on the Golden Bridge in BaNa Hills, the magnificent scenery of Ha Long Bay, the breathtaking limestone mountains in Ninh Binh, the beautiful chaos of Ho Chi Minh City, and the amazing authentic Vietnamese food! It is so green over there, unforgettable! I do miss ... almost everything. Indeed.
God I love Vietnam. Looking forward to this Paddy mate. Ha Giang Loop, Hanoi, Saigon, Da Bang, Hoi An...all wonderful memories of riding around and eating great food with the most amazing people I've ever met. Good times Paddy, look forward to it. Barry, London
We're excited to see how Vietnam is through your eyes. Mostly because you enjoy many of the same exact things and places we both do and take people places not on the usual path!!! Here's to a very bright, successful, and adventurous Vietnam travel series for you Paddy 🤗❤🤗
I am amazed to see how much stuff your backpack holds!! Thanks for mentioning the second wallet, I will get one for my coming up trip to Vietnam in December.
The fake second wallet, great tip mate 🙏 The bike mount is a winner, when you film via the chest mount and filmin with that mount yourselve, that does give ya that extra level 💪 Thanks for sharing all your stuff mate. This was the last vlog to catch up on all of them, thanks for the hard work, we (Miss N and I) loved all of them and follow your journey mate 😊 And as always, C Ya in the next one, cheers 🙌🍻
Paddy's Big Vietnam Adventure Begans. You might have a backup career as a model. Not. 555. Good luck mate, have a great trip. Looking forward to new videos.
We will be back there in August just so much to see and do. The Ha Giang loop was probably one of my best experiences just hubby me and our motorbike .
I'm so excited for this 'Next Level Adventure'! Vietnam is one of the places I have on my bucket list to see some day! Can't wait to see it through your perspective first! Stay safe!
put it at No 1, your best dream is waiting. you will be amazed by vietnam. Its truly an awesome place of beautiful culture and fun you will forever remember it.
I love vn been there many times and will go there in Oct. You should visit the waterfall Ban Gioc on the border and along the way there are other attraction.
@@smoothriderr glad you joined the many fans that love vietnam, hoping to be back in december time but think it's going to be more party nights as the fun for Xmas and New year is truly awesome in saigon 🙃
So excited to watch this series! I’ll be reliving one of my favorite adventures to date, back in 2017 my partner and I also did a three month motorcycle trip from north to south. I think this will be epic! :) can’t wait to follow along!
Welcome to Vietnam, Paddy! That’s a super video explaining how a vlogger can pack for a trip. Generally Police ‘coffee money’ should amount to no more than 200-300k VND, about $8-12. Great to have it in a separate wallet, but only put the minimum amount in. The police are usually okay from what I’ve heard, just doing their thing. I’ve heard where they have asked for more, but will take what you’ve got - people have ‘negotiated’. They won’t want the paperwork of taking anyone to the station. However, I’ve been riding around here for a year nearly and never been pulled once. It happens but pretty rarely. You’re right to go North to South. That’s the way savvy people do it. Cheaper bikes in the North Hope to see you around! Best of luck! You’ll love it here
Aww love you Paddy! You have such a fun and caring personality and as following you on you and Dreamys train ride from Chiang Mai I will be following you on your Vietnam travel! Can’t wait mate!!!! And oh thanks for the tech update. I loved you going thru your gear 🙏🏼❤️ And… the modeling too 😉not bad!!
Excited for this new series mate, especially after you said you were staying 30days in the North! I’m planning just a NORTHERN LOOP myself for later in the year and plan on 40-50days to really take my time. Ninh Binh, Mai Chau / Pu Luong Sapa Ha Giang (obviously you know as the Northern most point is there) Ban Gioc Waterfall Ha Long Bay / Cat Ba Island All obvious points of interest. I wanna see your drive from Hanoi to Ha Giang/Sapa. Leave no stone unturned ☺️☺️
Gonna watch through these now paddy mate, how'd you get longer than a 30 day visa? Looking forward to it 👍 good to see someone willing to go on an adventure and not just follow the same 5 place tourist trail making boring videos of the same tourist traps
Thanks for the gear breakdown. I downloaded a bunch of videos that I didn’t get around to watching when they came out. Watched some of the downloads on a flight from Singapore to Sydney
Wow Paddy.. You're SO organised!!! You have, of course, forgotten one important thing!! ... I can't tell you what it is. You'll find that out once you get there. It's always the way!!🤣🤣🤣🤣 lots of love. Looking forward to seeing the new adventure xx
I am very excited about this Paddy. Vietnam is a wondeful country to ride around. I hope everything goes well and you have an amazing trip. It's also very pleasing to see you back in your "self Paddy-mind set" again. Learning from your mistakes is how a man really grows. So, two thumbs up to you. No rush, take it in... Cheers!
I was in Hanoi five years back. Make sure you take the rowboat ride through the caves under the mountains where the ladies row with arms and then legs in open water. This is a region where the children of war have grown, so your educator skills will come to the forefront here. Your next level adventure in Vietnam will be an eye and mind opener for us all. Try walking across the street at the Hanoi town centre amidst hundreds of buzzing motorbikes, If you come across her, please say hello from Canada to the doughnut lady on the streets of downtown Hanoi. What stories await you? Looking forward to this next level adventure. Safe journey! dcb
Wow. Your equipment/clothes video very interesting. You are your own documentary crew all in one bag. I'll be with you all the way, watching, learning and keeping notes for myself. I'm heading to Thailand in Oct., because I was so influenced by your 77 province journey.
Looking forward to the next chapter. I traveled from the south to the north when the first sars outbreak happened twenty years ago. Was great for us as we stayed in very nice hotels at a discount price. We enjoyed the north the best. Spent about two months. I don't remember having to extend my visa. But that was a long time ago
Hey Paddy! Love Vietnam!! One of my favourite destinations on the planet! Really looking forward to seeing your spin. BTW, I didn't notice a plug adapter for the electric power outlet in the wall among all the things you were squirrelling away in your bag. I don't know if Thailand and Vietnam use the same style of pin plugs, but I would hate to think that you would go to plug your laptop in and heck! the plug is all wrong!! Just a thought. Travel well and Stay safe!
Hi Paul, Just buy a cheap adapter in a local market or a hotel will lend you one. I had Chinese and British plugs which just need an adapter. I still have mind, for my next trip. Cheers.
I personally found what you were bringing on the trip very informative as I always want to know how people pack for their trips. FYI, a lot of people think their international licenses are legit in Vietnam. It may not be if they are from countries that have not signed the 1968 convention (read about it on itourvn). And if you're from a country that did sign the convention, make sure it's for a motorcycle if you're planning on motorbiking through Vietnam.
Hey paddy I met you in phi phi island with my friend an we was talking about whether you should visit vietnam next and I was pushing you to do it. I’m glad you are now and I can’t wait to see what my home country looks like after many years!
Good one! I see you have 178k subs now and I know you've grown in leaps and bounds in the past year. I wonder how many subs you had when this video was made? Happy for you Paddy. Love your channel.
hi Paddy, your new adventure sounds amazing, so happy that you start a new tour. I am sure this one will be epic as the last ones. Keep Punching and take care
Good luck Paddy, you're going to love Vietnam for sure, and its people and delicious cuisine ;) Be aware, Vietnamese culture is very different than Thai culture, and they are very proud people :) I forgot to share some recommended places to visit in Vietnam, but in a nutshell I would recommend: Hanoi (don't forget Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum & war museum), Ha Long Bay (take a 2 day cruise), Cat Ba Island, Sapa, Ha Giang, Hang Sơn Đoòng, Hue, Hoi An, Da Lat, HCMC, Mekong Delta and last Con Dao Islands. Whenever you are in need of (emergency) assistance, let me know and I can bring you in contact with some of my friends in Vietnam. Enjoy ! :)
Can’t wait for this series! We are planning our alu cab camper trip at the moment .. leaving from Malaysia to travel back to the UK .. Thailand and Vietnam being the two starter countries .. your videos have given us so many ideas .. thanks Paddy .. safe travels tomorrow and looking forward to your next episode. 🙏🏼😎
Looking forward to the Vietnam excursion. I motorcycled the DaNang area and north and south --- It was a great base with plenty to see and do in that region. Vietnam is indeed an amazing and beautiful place.
How exciting!! Just a side note.. its going to be hot! Like muggy and hot in lots of parts of Vietnam. Hanoi to start. Stay hydrated and pace yourself right! You forgot the flip flops!:) lol
Looking forward to seeing your next adventure!!.. Where did you get the North face waterproof suit? I could do with something like that for my bike trip round northern Thailand
Big big fan of your vlog esp this riding series. A big challenge for you in the future. Do this here in the Philippine Islands where you'd travel from the northern tip going thru luzon then ride your motor on a barge or roro to islands then last stop in Mindanao. But make sure to start maybe January so the weather will be better in Visayas and Mindanao by Feb and March 😄
Oh Paddy do you realize how many motorcycle s there are in Hanoi while there it's a must to visit the B 52 museum the plane was shot down and they built the museum around it
the buying selling bike thing I totally agree. Thats what I did few years ago. I didnt even posted my bike to sell ! Just msg some people looking to buy one in HCM and sold it very fast ! Enjoy Paddy !
This is exciting! I think you have a great plan setup, Paddy. Can't wait to come along! I am particularly looking forward to seeing your footage of riding your motorcycle through the crazy traffic in Ho Chih Minh City and Hanoi, that Vietnam is famous for! 😃
You are brilliant my friend in what you use and what you do, CHEERS!!! I am 65 now and just learned about computers about 20 years ago and not salat like you, Thank you for all you do, incredible. I still live in Thailand after 22 years from the U.S.

I know how convenient the chest mount is for the GoPro but just want to advise to be aware that it is a focus point for impact if you come off your bike. Speaking from experience. That is GENIUS Logic about heading North first. Hope to still see you in December.....

I know how convenient the chest mount is for the GoPro but just want to advise to be aware that it is a focus point for impact if you come off your bike. Speaking from experience. Hey Paddy! nice intro, can't wait to see the new series. Best wishes man, come back safe & hope to see u in Phuket in the 2nd week of October in-case.
