If you want to bring a giga, you should spend a day or so getting a small mutation stack. It will help you a lot in genesis, especially against the x-creatures. The alpha brute t-rex did roughly 1000 damage; health and melee mutations would be crucial to making those fights less stressful. It wouldn't have to be a lot of mutations, but if you are getting 10% on melee with each mutation is is definitely worth it!

allos will also be a good help in the battle against the brutes because they can bleed them even if they are just throw away allos (syntac should tame allos on genesis)
I typically use a giga with 260% base melee imprinted and leveled a ton and it is super easy except last part with the raptors where I always get enraged and my giga eats me
You can’t use gigas for alpha brute dinos, especially raptor, they deal to much damage. I play official with 515 base melee gigas. Even with good saddles and 100% you’ll still enrage
Health mutations on gigas are not even worth it because you get such a small increase per mut. Melee is the only worth while mutation on gigas.
For me the main problem for alpha brute missions is not health it's trying to kill the boss before the giga rages what I do is tag team the boss with several gigas honestly some of the alpha brutes are kind of impossible like the raptor rages my gigas in 3 hits and it hits fast what I suggest for the alphas is skip them and come back to them after you had defeated the controller boss on Gama to get the skiff the shoot the apha brutes with a ton of turrets
You can get owl pellets from the loot crates on genesis. I don't know if it would be enough to sustain the Gachas, but it's a start at least.

You might be able to use the slomo (slowmo maybe, I forget) to skip the titan fight cool down. Pretty sure that everyone would be OK with it
Edited June 7th: it has been said in the comments of this comments that you would still be sitting around for 36 minutes at 10x speed (according to the calculations of Ian Christian, thank you), I would be OK with you using infinitestats while using slomo (it was implied earlier for those reasons though I should’ve stated it my bad) the votes from earlier may be OK with slomo, though I’m not sure how they would feel about infinitestats as well, it might be a good a idea to put up a poll with these questions if you plan on doing it

Hm, for the creatures to bring next season. I say take a breeding pair of gigas (alpha ones are HARD, you might wanna stack mutations) and an ele gacha, will save you a hell of a lot of farming. You'll get plenty of good loot from the missions, and snow owl pellets dont affect the amount of element dust you get.

i think the brainworms from one of your starter gigas carried over to a few (especially the one during that first fight that didnt do anything)
Farming element is so easy on genesis its probably pointless doing the ele gacha. Gonna take u more time to farm stone etc for the gacha than it would to farm ele. A breeding pair of giga might be a good idea but your honestly way better off with an army of rexes or theris on that map. The alphas lay so much damage down that they enrage gigas too quickly. So honestly take your reaper, and breeding pair of rexes. You won't regret that choice. You may regret the gigas further down the line. Expecially when u race against the clock at the end of some missions. Reapers are awesome cause of the reduced damage and they super useful in the boss fight for crowd control. You'll thank me later. :)
I would think the three would be from Extinction in addition to what he already has brought over. Reapers are real good too on Gen.
Since he will be bringing all of the dinosaurs of the other Dlc, he already have a pair of rexes so bringing a pair of gigas wouldn’t be a bad idea but I totally agree on the elements point, there are very easily farmed.
I think you should bring the Giga. Those hunt missions are not going to be easy either way, but having a strong creature can definitely help you out in many places.
Hey Syntac, not sure if your gonna read this or not but this is still useful for everyone else.
The reason why Gigas rarely rage anymore is cause you most likely have PvE on.
Wildcard made it that in PvE servers (build into PvE) that Gigas no longer kill there Owners/other tames while Raged.
They will have glowing eyes still though that will mean nothing to you and your tames since they are still under control.
Gigas also can no longer Rage from Fall Damage and i believe Rage is completely disabled while your riding your Gigas.

A Snow owl would be pointless on Genesis you can’t even fly on it

@Xx itsyaboiqwacks Xx i mean genesis is an insainly diffucult map, hence there are 150+ missions he has to do to kill the alpha and the boss itself is insain. The alpha missions are hard solo as well
I have watched every episode up to here and I love your content so much. I personally think that you make ark so much more fun to watch and play. I can’t wait to watch the rest of ultimate ark and plan on watching all of your other content. In terms of what your gonna bring to genesis, bring whatever you wanna bring to make your it easier. It is your play through so do whatever you need to do to make it to the end. 👍🏽👍🏽
You can craft a mek on Genesis, no need to bring one
Do missions to buy the Element to make the Replicator, then just use a Mining Drill to get Shards for Element. That frees up having to use a Gacha or Snow Owl:D Maybe Giga, Mana to get around? or just taking a Giga breeding line.
Id say the lineup will probably be 2 gigas and a mek

This is what the Ark Wiki says about the Giga's Rage mode:
"Gigas gain rage by taking large amounts of damage in a short time. This includes, but is not limited to, C4, rockets, and reflected damage from the likes of Kentrosaurus. A stomp from a Gamma King Titan (~13,000 damage against mate-boosted Gigas) is enough to auto-enrage them. Flame damage, however, will not make a Giganotosaurus enter rage mode. This can make using a Flamethrower, Fire Wyverns, or a Phoenix all viable options for burning down a Giga. Both wild and tamed Gigas gain rage and the more rage they have, the more damage they deal (estimated at 100% damage increase when at the peak of rage.)
In the past, Gigas used to gain rage from fall damage. However this mechanic has been removed. At the same time, changes were made to make rage buildup factor in raw damage as opposed to mitigated damage. This is to prevent high saddle quality from causing a Giga to not enrage since damage was minimal enough to prevent the mechanic from coming into effect."

Syn you should just do the same thing you did for Extinction - Bring 3 creatures from every ark, or just bring 5 creatures from Extinction, or even since you said it your self, Have the Gattcha and the Snow Owl come as 1 creature.

Syntac i think the reason there are limited crafting amount on the chest piece, boots and helmet could possibly be due to those pieces abilities, like breathing under water, jetpack and no fall damage, i could be wrong but it also makes sense,
You don’t need the gacha and the snow owl because a mining drill which can be made in a fabricator is great for harvesting element shards in volcano, therefore immediately making the gacha and snow owl irrelevant, the rest of what you bring is up to you

syntac, the only thing that can really cause a gigs to rage is another gigs or tamed titans. the wild titans don't do enough damage to rage them. if you watch the footage back your rage meter goes up very slightly but the damage isn't consistent enough to push you over.

I can picture a madman fight the forest titan with a beaver army, not sure why but it's what I'm picturing right now.
Forget about Gacha and Owl, you can get element in other ways (tho not as fast) and the owl would be useless outside of pellet machine. THE ONE thing you should bring to Genesis is the Rock Drake, for amazing mobility combined with good power and alpha status, and then a giga pair.
If you look at that rage meter you can see how it goes up slightly every time you get hit and then goes down

Syntac you can’t ride flyers on Genesis, you can’t ride the Snow Owl so you can’t heal your Dino’s, I definitely recommend bringing two Giganotosaurus so you can breed them to do the missions, and for Genesis you should do 25 episodes, 10 episodes to grind out get all of your equipment and tame some Dinos, 10 episodes to do the missions, and the last 5 episodes to prepare for the boss and kill the bosses.
syntac 1 gatchas are good for other maps for ele, but for genises if you bring over dinos that can defend their selves in the volcano decently, you can get so much for shards than dust
For genesis take reaper for combat missions, drake for mobility and the invisibility is makes the hunting missions so easy because u can just walk pass creatures and Rex to clone for army
Sadly you can't transfer reapers (the reason why is probably because of their 360º tail knockback which would be really good for the corrupted master controller boss)

Your character becomes a homo deus at the end of ARK extinction, your implant disappears. When you go to your inventory and look at your new implant it says” your homo deus implant”. And you also get a homo deus armour/skin

Anyone who’s saying to bring weaver you can’t transfer reapers to genesis if I’m correct I would not recommend bringing the element gacha syntac because element is easy to get with a mining drill in volcano. Love the episode!

The rage meter for giga goes up when it gets a kill and go down 2 seconds after it goes up if there is not another kill after it

I really enjoyed the video, and it shows that you put a lot of effort into your videos. I just want to say though, if you read this, that you cannot ride flyers on Genesis unless you've got a special setting you can change or something has been updated since I last played so a Snow Owl wouldn't be the best choice. I think a pair of Gigas and then maybe a decent swimmer or climber, like a Baryonyx or Rock Drake or something similar to either would be a better choice.
Im kinda sure, no one would have been mad, if you spawned the forest titan back in. Its just so dumb, that it despawns this fast.
The rage is caused by consistent high damage, it's no longer just one singular attack. (Unless said attack does like 10k+)

honestly, if you are just looking at getting Element from the Gacha, you dont need an owl. just weigh it down with rocks.
i dont think owl pellets help with drop count of their items, just potential rarity and stats of items for gear.
Also if you get a good bach of creatures in a pile and you dive bomb on the snow owl it can heal a good majority of them
Syntac you should use the slomo (ex. slomo 50) command to make time speed up in game while you wait. It will make it so that it won’t take 6 real life hours to redo the boss fights. (I don’t have s+ or ss so mass hatching eggs and stacking mutations takes absolutely forever so I use this so that I don’t need to be afk forever in order to get a handful of mutations in single player)

Bring a rock drake to Genesis because you can use the glide. You won’t need the Gatchas I probably spelt that wrong. Because you can get shards from the volcano pretty easily. Also maybe tame a few Velonosaurs you should get some level up nothing but stamina and meele and uses one to hit the king Titan.

You dont really need the Gacha because element is easy to get in the volcano bio. Mate boosted Gigas is definitely the way forward. Snow owl because they're cool n healing is always a bonus
I beat the Gamma King Titan with only a Mutated Snow Owl. Owl has 10 mutations in health and 10 in melee. The fights after that one though I had to use a rex army and the Titans for the Alpha version. You should bring two gigas and a snow owl. You can't heal creatures with the snow owl if you can't ride it though because of the "no fliers" rule. But you should get a stack of mutations on the gigas before you leave Extinction. It would help.
I did gamma king titan. We had 7 mutated gigas, and 10 mutated rexes. There also were 6 people in meks that all were around level 200. We barely did anything to it and we lost it all on official. Just be carefull ok?
What about the mega mek, and the 3 titans?
@Syntac i would say bring Joffery and another one with a basilisk because you cant really use flyers in Genesis which would mean the snow owl would be useless. Also you can get easy element from the volcano and get tons of shards which you can make into a replicator. Anything else is up to you but you shoud bring 2 gigas to get babies and make an army which would be very beneficial
Basilisk came from abberation. It wasn’t tamed in extinction so it doesn’t count towards the 3. He is allowed 3tames from each map. So in each map he tamed creatures he can only bring 3.
you're talking about bringing a snow owl, but as far as i'm aware, on official vanilla settings, you cant use fliers on genesis. will you be adjusting the setting for that? if i were you, i'd stick with the giga and the mek.

I do think it's fair to bring mate boosted gachas. While it's technically 2 tames they're kind of a packaged deal
I would not bring the ELE Gacha since you can do a Red crystal run and get way more than waiting for gachas and you can't ride the snow owl to heal on Genesis unless you enable that from setting.
I'd take a breeding pair of Giga's and unless you are going to enable flyers i'd leave the snow owl and take either the reaper or the basilsk, (would make farming mats easier in terms of what you can carry).
I would say bring the owl and gatcha as one but youre not allowed to use the owl for fighting or defense only the pellets or count as 2 and use the snow owl as well for an early flyer

Without our character, the Earth will still be in ruins. It is because of our character that the arks came back to Earth. Also, our character could ascend because he killed Godzilla's cousin.

I believe with your rules you should bring 3 creatures from each map & yes you got the Giga on Extinction but it is an Island creature so I'd say bring 2 Rex and the Giga as Island creature.
2 gigas and a Snow Owl. Would in my opinion the best route. What with element shards are easy enough to get in the volcano area
also you can use slomo command so you can skip it. were gonna be ok with it so that it doenst stress you :)
You should bring the snow owl, the element gacha, and the Giga. Also try to stack a little more mutations so he’s OP. Love the vids aswell Syntac!
Probably too late for you to see this but you can make mining drills in a fabricator instead of a replicator so forget about gachas id suggest giga and rex pair to save you having to restack mutations. Upvote for syntac to see the fabricator advice.
Just an opinion but you should probably bring the gigs and a Mek because on genesis you can go to the volcano with a mining drill where you can farm tons of element shards. Also because you can’t fly on genesis it sort of makes the snow owl pointless apart from the pellets. Just a suggestion though, keep up the good work.

im not sure if they patched it but if you put a ferox on your shoulder you can bring it into the melee missions then feed it element

you shouldnt bring the snow owl bc you arent able to use flyers and if you want to keep it as close to vanilla as you can dont use flyers it makes it too easy daedons are better on gen obviously and the gigas should be top priority they will help you run through the missions very quickly.Also you should bring gas bags as they can carry a lot of materials while you are farming

So i'm watching this in preparation for my Forest Titan fight and i was getting worried cause he has 5 or 6 against it, so i paused it on his Giga's stats and i think just one of mine would be enough. I caught 2 and bred them, after imprinting it has almost 100k health and after levelling it's attack is around 4000%. But at least i know Giga's are the way to go, thanks Syntac haha
I would say for genesis:
Giga x2 for the breeding and mate boost.
Mana is good for Going around in genesis.
Element is easy after you get the replicator, so the gacha is not needed.
Maybe take a mek instead of mana if you get a good one.
Dont bring gachas, you dont need the loot and the Element and getting the bloodstalker ist also relatively easy so the snowowl is useless. Just bring two gigas for breeding and the one other creature

If you brought the snow owl over to genesis would you make it to where you can ride flyers? Cause then if you don’t bring the Gacha then the snow owl would be somewhat useless since you can’t ride it if you don’t enable that. I'd bring the Reaper(good on the boss), Mutation stacked rex and Rock drake. Gigas rage super fast(a few seconds most the time) on brute dinos and element is easy on gen.
I don’t know about the rest of you guys I feel like the mek is more like an item than a creature. I don’t know what your thoughts are on bringing items but I’m totally cool with the idea of at least bringing a blueprint or bringing a unassembled mek because really it’s like the peak of the extinctions technology and if you wanted you could build one on genesis if you are taking your engrams to genesis it makes sense to be able to make use of them if you want to.
You don’t need an element gacha on genesis, element is super easy to get there, you can make a mek once you’re there as well so no need to bring a mek either, you can’t use snow owls if you bring them, manas either, gasbags is a good tame for its weight and it’s floating but they’re found in genesis too so, I’d say bring a pair of gigas and a Velonasaur?
Velonosour giga and rock drake velonosours are really good for bosses and stuff
