Saw the documentary a couple of days ago. A must see. Funny, moving, outrageous. The scenes of them moving large pieces of furniture and blocks of concrete into the “apartment” are hilarious. Thought-provoking.
Love it. Glad these guys have their documentary now. I remember when they got caught, thinking who didn't dream of a space like this when they were young- but these guys actually DID it! And got away with it for four years! Only in Rhode Island.
You need to see the confusing behemoth that is the parking maze to truly understand. Once you see it, you're like "yup, that makes perfect sense!" To this day I've never seen security in the garage. They used to have parking attendants at the exit booths but even those are automated now.
Security didn’t find them we did….iv seen homeless people sleeping in the parking lot get charged with breaking and interning but him and his crew didn’t get nothing
Ironic that abandoned malls are now being considered for repurposing as affordable housing. This guy might be able to rent his old spot back
Honestly all 3 of these guys are to blame for being caught. They should have become the mall security and it could have lasted forever.
that's some serious 3DChess right there
I know right? Imgaine if they'd actually gotten a security job.
Steve Wallis, the Canadian stealth camping guru, would be proud of him.

I really want to see this- I remember when they got caught. So cool of them to do in the first place!

Lmaooo that’s amazing
This is really awsome and someting I kinda wish I could do. But what gets me is how did they not get caught when they were putting in the block wall?

I really want to see this documentary. But I can't find it streaming anywhere. Does anybody know where I can go see it?
It's still doing the film festival circuit, with no scheduled release date for home media / digital.
In malls in China, the site has cleaners quarters built into the parking garages. Basically the same thing these artists built but without the frills.
Where do you live? At the mall
Here was a '70's french comedy where they were doing the same, what was the title?
it should be "Le grand bazar" (The big store), with the group of French comedians Les Charlots
