In the show it's said they are Venezuelan special forces and use a very specific martial arts rarely seen elsewhere
Hollywood trope. 'Hero' always gets beat up - even by small untrained guys like this -, and is then saved at the last moment by some kind of miracle twist. Never read much of those kinds of scenes in the novels, particularly not in the early ones. I wouldn't mind not having them, because they're so pathetic in what they're trying to accomplish that they brutally breaks immersion. But Hollywood writers don't seem to know any other way to write action.

I love Her character because they didnt go with some over the top super model thats not believeable.....roscoe looks like a normal towns person who is attractive...love this show

people talk about how big reacher is and how intimidating he is but I am more amazed by his sherlock like thinking skills. People can become that buff and strong but never this smart if they aren't already.
Eh even with building your body genetics is a thing, and height plays a big part in intimidation. I should know. Im about the same height and build.

In the books, a part of the humor is, when Reacher does something that normally works as common sense, then it doesn't work.
Reacher's words to Rosco at the end of the scene are perfect for his character. Absolutely spot on! My praise to the writers!

However I do hope she makes appearances in future, would make sense seeing how much he cares for her and she gave him her number which he will probably do everything to keep that lolly wrapper on him 😂

I like the fact the season wasn’t dragged out too long for the plot ,got it just about right I think,I enjoyed it,looking forward to another season now 👍

I love her character too because she is feisty. They make her look plain tor the character. If you see her interviews about the show she is very cute. The writers have to keep them together, their chemistry is amazing.

You could tell that it was hard for teacher to open up and talk about his emotions. And you can tell there is something special about Rocscoe for him to open up and talk about his emotions.

0:24 so clever until this point. It's easy to surmise that the people to took the briefcase would find that it did not contain what they were looking for and return for the garment bag. Reacher should have taken the garment bag to a secure location before searching it.

@@zara6854 This. I get what you're saying, but Reacher is self assured to a fault; just because he's usually one step ahead, doesn't mean he always is. There are some people in the series he takes down in seconds, and some that hold their own. Also... technically mistakes need to be made, or nothing would ever happen (or require an insane amount of setting up to be perfectly plausible).
Why is everyone talking about him saving her? She just saved his life because he came up short during a hand to hand exchange with a guy half his size.

The guys chasing them wanted the paper that Reacher had. When Reacher first shot back at them, he made sure to let them see that HE had the paper so that they would probably focus on him and let her go. She figured it out when she saw noone was chasing her.

Weather he saved her life is debatable, but he certainly was trying to save her' had they chased her there is no certainty of what the outcome could of been (so your claim that it is factual is just hyperbolic).
Your point about her not getting hit is just nonsense, that is not at all how fighting works. If someone as experienced as Reacher had difficulties it is reasonable that a 100lb girl with less HTH experience would of faired worse.

Reacher "saves" Roscoe by letting the bad guys see that he has Joe's notes. In essence, Reacher paints a bullseye on his own back to draw them away from Roscoe, then she figures out what Reacher did and saves him.

not to be a spoiler, but there is no way that an Officer in Dress uniform would be unshaven as he is in the Paris episode 8 scene. they should have shot that scene either first or last to show him clean shaven. Other than that and the crowbar issue. I'm fine with the series and looking forward to the next.
