The video shows the complete working of the band saw blade butt welding process. The two ends of the metal blades sheared and applied in the fixture. The fixture on both the blades is fixed. Both the blades are fixed and the current is passed for a fixed period of time. There was forging at both ends after heating. The forging was completed and the current is passed for the annealing. The annealing was completed and the malleable joint is formed between the two ends of the blades. This joint is stronger than the base metal.
