I never play medic on mvm because the shield is completely useless since no matter what button I press the shield will not come out. Not when I'm healing someone not regularly under no circumstances does any of the array of buttons on my keyboard deploy the fkin sheild

for me its when you ubercharge someone and they act like you're using stock uber when you arent, IE kritz, quickfix or vacc (my personal favorite), like, they charge in thinking they're immortal when all they really have is faster healing, damage resistance, or crits
@@isolatedegg3234 stock is worse to be honest. You just get screwed by airblast and other movement impairing effects, and the Quick-Fix builds faster. Quick-Fix uber doesn't make you literally invincible but it's good enough 95% of the time. Plus you're healing 40% faster when not ubered. And the overheal penalty is only 75 health max on heavy, it's much less on other classes. Doesn't really make a difference most of the time.
My life as a medic, an edge lord sniper yelling medic while hitting me with his melee as I'm popping uber on a soldier, who doesn't even move untill the uber ends dying horribly, then I get hit by the scorch shot running towards a FULL health pack, then a scout at 112 steals it, then a scout kills me while nobody not even the edgy sniper protects me. And once I died, EVERYONE ON THE TEAM STARTS TAKING A SHITLOAD OF DAMAGE SPAMING E
As a “Heavy Main”, I do appreciate it when a medic decides to pocket me. I will remember what you said and take it into account whenever I’m being pocketed by a medic in order to ensure that we both have fun. Thanks Array Seven, you earned yourself a sub.
Things I hate being Medic: 1: Scouts stealing health packs when I am near them 2: Getting my Uber to 100% and got killed before using it (my fault mostly) 3: Teammates (especially scouts) spamming E 4: Unbalanced classes 5: Being Medic because no one is one (which is why l’m a medic main)
Its usually just mashing it that pisses people off. I'm fine if you press it about three times, then it gets annoying. So yes, other mains, you are allowed to press E.
There's an auto call funtion in the avanced settings that allows you to see automatic callouts from friendlies bellow a certain life point. It's a godsend because it allows you to spread your healing and ignore the players that constantly shout out.

Oh God yes. The number of times this happens. 2Fort is the worst for this. You charge across the bridge, healing the soldier. He emerges from the other end and immediately rocket-jumps to the balcony, whereupon one of two things happens: 1. You're now facing the whole other team while armed with the TF2 equivalent of a small toothpick, or 2. You were using the Quick-Fix so the exact same thing happens, but with the added indignity that you just got slammed into the bridge roof when he jumped.
@@Moxleid I remember a moment when i was soldier, a medic was healing me and i rocket jumped to get in the fort without getting sentrys attention, he just looked at me, stood there, and i thought i cant leave him here, so we both died to sentry because he was only using the vaccinator.
I frequently use the quick fix It is endlessly frustrating when a demo charges or soldier rocket jumps while I’m still inside a doorway and getting separated with a mile long gap
I think that could fit in with the false sence of importance category: When you play a medic and some spy/scout/sniper thinks he is more important in the battlefield than your , and for the ''team's favour'' he tries to go in the teleport which leads to the battlefeild first and doesn't let you stand on the teleporter and pass first.
When I play medic, I love when people call for medic- it lets me know where they are. Seriously, people who don't call for medic are worse because I sometimes will lose track of them. Like, yes, if this were real life, it might be annoying to have someone fully overhealed calling for medic, but this is a game, it's just to let you know where they are / that you are about to take damage or something / have crit heals.

Thing is most people don’t actually understand how stressful it is to play Medic. You have the constant fear of the respawn time, which is extended, the enemy targets you, and so on. As a Medic Main, (and 9 months late) Medic is a fun class to play as long as things go your way.

during the being ignored part it reminded me of a time where i was playing pyro and saved my medic by doing the normal stuff like extinguishing them killing spy who try to pick them off and stuff and the medic just never left my side and would pop ubers for me he was nice also love the vids man keep it up
One of my favorite moments was when I was healing a demo who jumped into a sentry nest and than said over voice chat "oh shit, I thought you had Uber." We still took out the nest because demoman, but still.

Medic is a really stressful class to play and honestly I love it. It gets my brain firing on all cylinders and my adrenaline rushing, sometimes a situation slows down and feels like it's solid minute long but in reality it was 5 seconds. You can't be to far behind you team or you're useless, but if you're to far ahead you'll die. You need to actively find that position just on or behind the front line which shifts constantly.
6:21 id also like to add to this, players overextending massively when they get an uber, no im not going to try and spawn camp the entire team with you, ive been shot, blown up, and burned enough times to know how that always ends.
Ugh, often when I uber heavies on 2fort on the stairs leading to enemy spawn, they start spawncamping after killing the enemies instead of going for the intel and I have to lead them
This is SO accurate, thanks for making this! I get one of two types of people, those who think I am a god and cannot possibly die if they leave me alone in front of the entire enemy team, and those who forget I even exist and assume I must be a bot sent from Gaben heaven who will heal them whenever they need me, even if they are halfway across the battlefield.
Me: **Heals pyro for 3 seconds** Pyro: **Rushes heavy and calls me brain dead for leaving him** Me: **Doesn’t heal pyro later on** Pyro: **Calls me brain dead again for not healing him** There’s no winning is there?
My biggest pet peeve is someone stealing a health kit, but the second biggest is rocket jumping unexpectedly while being healed by a quickfix and getting thrown into the enemy team. Especially after telling the soldier multiple times “if I am healing you GIVE ME A HEADS UP IF YOURE GONNA FLING US ACROSS THE MAP!” Then you have to decide if it’s better to just let the jerk die and be down, at least, an extra target and at best someone fragging BUT you’ll maybe live longer or heal them and risk any number of terrible ways to die BUT keeping that extra target/fire power alive.
To be honest when everyone keeps yelling at me medic! Is really confusing and they are just wasting my time because I think that they are dying and I just rush at em to save them
I'm late to this but: I base it on the colour of the medic help symbol that pops up (As the redder they are, the more injures they are) And usually ignore fully white ones not to waste my time (Fully white being at full health)
When is someone going to mention the issue of people you’re healing randomly going behind you so they can use you as a medic meat shield. Then THRY have the hecking audacity to complain about me dying in vc.
Fun tip: If you are hiding and you need to do something that makes noise, Make sure to use a voice line while doing it so that the other team doesn't hear you and figures out where you are.
10:01 this one even more so when the medic is ON FIRE and dying and they still take the pack and you die with 99% and then the person that took the pack gets snipped minutes after losing the game.
I was playing MvM a few days ago, and a Heavy with 650 overheal was complaining in chat because I was up front with the scout and soldier but not him while he sat in the back with a Tomislav.

Nothing is worse than a team that gives you nothing to work with. Seeing a team that consists of nothing but scouts, snipers, and spies is just soul crushing, then a glimmer of hope springs up inside you when you see a new player join the game and picks Soldier! Only to have it snuffed out at the sight of a rocket jumper and mantreads.

There's an auto call funtion in the avanced settings that allows you to see automatic callouts from friendlies bellow a certain life point. It's a godsend because it allows you to spread your healing and ignore the players that constantly shout out.

Oh God yes. The number of times this happens. 2Fort is the worst for this. You charge across the bridge, healing the soldier. He emerges from the other end and immediately rocket-jumps to the balcony, whereupon one of two things happens:
1. You're now facing the whole other team while armed with the TF2 equivalent of a small toothpick, or
2. You were using the Quick-Fix so the exact same thing happens, but with the added indignity that you just got slammed into the bridge roof when he jumped.

I think that could fit in with the false sence of importance category: When you play a medic and some spy/scout/sniper thinks he is more important in the battlefield than your , and for the ''team's favour'' he tries to go in the teleport which leads to the battlefeild first and doesn't let you stand on the teleporter and pass first.
When I play medic, I love when people call for medic- it lets me know where they are. Seriously, people who don't call for medic are worse because I sometimes will lose track of them. Like, yes, if this were real life, it might be annoying to have someone fully overhealed calling for medic, but this is a game, it's just to let you know where they are / that you are about to take damage or something / have crit heals.

Thing is most people don’t actually understand how stressful it is to play Medic. You have the constant fear of the respawn time, which is extended, the enemy targets you, and so on. As a Medic Main, (and 9 months late) Medic is a fun class to play as long as things go your way.

Medic is a really stressful class to play and honestly I love it. It gets my brain firing on all cylinders and my adrenaline rushing, sometimes a situation slows down and feels like it's solid minute long but in reality it was 5 seconds. You can't be to far behind you team or you're useless, but if you're to far ahead you'll die. You need to actively find that position just on or behind the front line which shifts constantly.
I enjoy games when there is three medics including yourself and giving out heals is less stressful

Sometimes i try to lead the medic who is following me to a health pack because they look low, but then they just leave me to go somewhere else.
My biggest pet peeve is someone stealing a health kit, but the second biggest is rocket jumping unexpectedly while being healed by a quickfix and getting thrown into the enemy team.
Especially after telling the soldier multiple times “if I am healing you GIVE ME A HEADS UP IF YOURE GONNA FLING US ACROSS THE MAP!”
Then you have to decide if it’s better to just let the jerk die and be down, at least, an extra target and at best someone fragging BUT you’ll maybe live longer or heal them and risk any number of terrible ways to die BUT keeping that extra target/fire power alive.

Nothing is worse than a team that gives you nothing to work with. Seeing a team that consists of nothing but scouts, snipers, and spies is just soul crushing, then a glimmer of hope springs up inside you when you see a new player join the game and picks Soldier!
