WCFL1000: Thank you for the post. This is one of my favourite Seekers songs. I just recently found out that Françoise Hardy is the writer and she does a wonderful job of it. I still like The Seekers version better. My brother and I used to listen to WCFL Chicago every evening in the late 60s early 70s all the way from Owen Sound, Ontario when they were a top 40 station. Good memories

I love Judith's voice. I was born in 1964 and it was such a part of my first impressions during those early years... Still, I have to agree with ABOLIRET. Francoise wrote the song, and I think her "younger", less-trained voice suits the song a little better.
