Hello again. How's life? I've just purchased this very kit from Hobbylinna and was looking forward to building it. However, much to my disappointment, theres lots of components missing. Namely an entire sprue of parts. I've notified Heller and am now waiting for their response. If they charge me for the parts I've requested they send me, I'll be really miffed. Tyres are daft too.😮
The Scania you built is custom built and not the actual kit in the box? Because if it is custom built, that's quite an impressive result. Are you using an airbrush to paint or painting direct from spray can? I use Maston colours direct from the can to good effect. If I might I offer one tip? Fuel tank/air tank straps can be imitated with the use of car pin striping tape and cut to dimension. It's how I've replicated the straps on a couple of models of mine and think it works to great effect. I'm also a bit reluctant to mix/match manufacturers products as you have Heller & Italeri because often the scales vary slightly from product to product. Once again, impressive build. :)
Hello Zaros, yes it’s kind of custom built. Some italeri and heller mix because I wanted 3 axel truck. 😁 It’s more common in Finland than 2 axel. The kind of truck they drove to Europe back in the days. I’m using Maston colours also. I don’t have the skills to use airbrush, maybe someday! 🙈😁😁 Hey, thanks for the tip my friend. That’s a good one. I must try it with the next project. 👍👍👍 By the way, some times I use Emek truck parts also. The scale is almost the same. Special when I do normal trailer instead of semi. 😊 Next project will be old school Volvo with 2 axel normal trailer. But I’m just starting it so it takes some time until it’s finished. 😁😁
@@reksi12 I'll take a closer look at those Emek trucks. I've seen them in Prisma and thought they were pretty neat conventional toys for children. Best toys I've seen in Finland. No batteries required. No computer chips. Just good old yesteryear toys. Makes me want to be a kid again. :)
They are the best toys. I used to play with them when I was a kid. 👍👍👍 Now when i’m grown up I use Emek as parts. 😁 But not the old ones, they stay original. 😁
Отново отлична работа ! Поздрави !
Thank you very much! 👍👍👍😊
