I like people like Sam & Salvador Dali who rep the trippy side of art without demanding you to also be unstable & tripping-out in daily life. Sam turning out to be a decent boxing coach is almost funnier than than him sabotaging Harley. You can tell he's invested time and effort into this, and that he legitimately knows a thing or two about boxing

@deepstateflatmoonlizardcultist I've known for a while that he lifts weights and likes to keep fit, but I completely agree him being a competent boxing coach was unexpected to say the least. Idubbz started his interview with an already fully-formed idea of who Sam Hyde was based on preconceived notions. He knew the story he wanted to tell before filming began, and his time with Sam was spent searching for confirmation bias. Harley, on the other hand, kept an open mind and reserved judgment. I think it's pretty clear which one got to meet the real guy, and why.

Then Harley will step out of it using his jab to maintain distance. It will be an ugly fight, but towards the end Arin will be sucking on fumes wondering "how do I get out of here?"

If he would get his life together and clean up his diet, lose weight, and train seriously, along with a trim, he would be the old Sam Hyde but with a serious character maturation. Dude's an actual beast, but he needs to realize that potential with action and stop hurting himself over his upper middle class upbringing and bad parenting. He's like that guy that had all the potential but nothing between the ears to drive that potential.

What a great way to promote your fight. Seriously, as a martial artist myself and as boxing is a big thing that is passed down in my family, from what I’ve seen Sam looks like he knows what he’s doing and understands how big frames have to fight and move. Especially if you’re not an anomaly like Tyson Fury you got to teach boxing according to one’s attributes. He’s previous trainer with no offense to him, was just using a cookie cut out. Where Sam is specializing and seems to have a decent fight IQ at the least. I see big things if this fight goes your way. Sam is giving you great advice. I know it sounds wrong. But he’s giving you advice that would take years of experience to actually learn. So just listen to it. Even if it sounds wrong. He’s not training you to be the best boxer. At least not yet. He’s training you to win your first fight.
