The only time I saw him drop the act was when True Geordie complimented the shape he was in during the weigh in. He seemed genuinely pleased that someone complemented him. Often when someone loses weight, they don’t actually realise how good they look because they’re still insecure about their body. He must have been feeling that way, especially since most people on the card, including his opponent, were looking jacked.
He went immediately back into character after 3 rounds and taking dozens of overhand rights from a pretty built 200 pound dude. That is dedication.
