thanks for the video. I am an airline pilot looking for a compact (or SMALL bridge) camera with good optical zoom to shoot 90% of time in bright and shaky or vibrating conditions, but would appreciate a night mode to shoot polar Auroras if i see some. What would you recommend in this selection or another model less than 600/700€ ? used to have a Lumix Bridge 12 years ago but was shooting nowadays from my iphone, but lacking a good optical zoom... had great expectations from iphone 12Pro but they went on with X2 zoom so i want a real camera ! thanks for your kind answer !
I loved my canon sx720 hs 40x zoom. I've not sold it any ideas which would be my next upgrade camera. I loved my 40x zoom optical. But now require a camera with 40x zoom and 4k camera zoom optical too? Suggestions please
Look Nikon P1000 and P950 (2020) are now almost same spec except Zoom. 3000mm vs 2000mm. But P950 giving better battery life 290shots vs 250shots (P1000)

If you buy a canon or nikon apsc DSLR you can get maximum 640 or 600mm focal length if you use tamron's 18-400mm lense. But you can get same focal length (600mm) from Canon Powershot G3X which has 1inch sensor, 25x optical zoom and a touch screen. But they don't want to upgrade its 1inch sensor variant because it will harm their DSLR business market. We hardly see our old photographs in our harddisc..
Ya, they all aim for different market. If you are taking videos only, may I suggest using Canon cameras with cropped 4k. 150-600mm on these cameras with 1.4x extender could reach around 2000mm when shooting in 4k.
@@rontnt 150-600mm lense (Sigma, Tamron) is not good for video. Its weight about 2KG so you need a tripod or strong hand, and expensive, starting from 80k.. Also it's little focus hungry. 1.4x converter (about 20k) will make it worse.

Yes, if you need its incredible zoom range, but if you don’t need that kind of zoom, these four has slightly better IQ in good light and better performance, AF and IQ with low light
@@agent7426 The image quality is terrible. It's an old cell phone camera with a zoom on it. That's why it's so cheap. Low light non-existent half way through zoom picture turns to mush.

No other cameras with 40x except Nikon P1000 and P950
@@rontnt yes but the price shoots up..
Actually the price for p1000 now is far lower than when it first came out

Useless bit of video. Lots of dramtatic music, pretty images and nothing to base a value decision on. Which camera should I buy?
This one is for the longest zoom. If you look at other videos in my channel, there is another video that can help you to choose
FOR VIDEO NATURE I USE A RX 10 IV. the mMost expansive but by far the best

Panasonic makes great cameras 👍👍👏👏
Nikon P900, P1000???
Those are with 1/2.3 inch sensor. This video is for cameras with 1 inch sensor
@@rontnt Thank You! 👍
why nikon p1000 did not get a place?
The P1000 has only a 1/2.3” sensor
Mikon coolpix p900 nad 1000 is not a superzoom camera??
she is over TOP))))
They are, but don't have a 1 inch sensor, which is what this video is about.
@L Brown a huge difference. really
What about 2022 ?
in small sensors till 4\3 panasonic rules in video in gibrid cameras, larger - sony. Moreover sony costs twice as panas with same parameters.

where is Nikon P950?

Garbage bin..
P950 have tiny sensor so its bad camera overall
RX10M4 .. Best image and low light quality .. Shoot 24 fps .. But no Time Lapse .. 😅
Best in price also 😅
Yea and no video stabilization
A video for people who don't need to know very much.

For now, yes. But its size is also very big

The only reason the P1000 gets 3000mm is its use of a small sensor .....a small sensor is not as good as a big sensor for image quality.
I THINK THAT RX 10 IV HAS A BETTER QUALITY. USING A 3000 TELE can't give very beautiful and accurate pictures ( vidéo ).
Yes, nikon p1000 has a big zoom, but the image quality is much more worst than any other 1inch sensor camera

Nikon is not 1 inch sensor
any camera below 50x zoom is NOT a superzoom camera.

Nikon p1000 is better than these 5
