Don’t worry about the negative things others have to say about taking medication to care for yourself! My little guy will be 3 months on the 3rd and Zoloft has literally been a life saver. I struggled with PPD and I wanted to enjoy this stage of his life instead of wishing for X month of his life when it’s supposedly going to be easier. I’m glad you’re feeling better!!
I just have to say how much respect I have for you now. So many TH-camrs post negative postpartum pregnancy test videos just for views and I love that you incorporated it into this video to still share is with us but didn't use it as a way to get more views. Just feels a lot more real that way and I can tell how nervous you and your hubby were. Navy is so adorable! Glad you are doing better 💛
My baby is about to be 3 months on the 6th… and I’m still feeling like I need to be right by her and not out of my sight. I got on Zoloft also and it’s helped so much. I also went through some depression… and it does take a toll on you. Proud of you girl! It’s not bad to ask for help. Us moms go through a lot… our whole lives change including our bodies. I’m so glad you’re open and honest!
Hey Abby! My daughter is about 2 1/2 months and I absolutely love watching your videos, I feel like I'm sitting on the couch with my best friend, just want to say thank you for that especially while dealing with the struggles of motherhood 💕
Always do what makes you feel better and what makes you happy glad you are doing better and getting to enjoy this time with your family, just had twins and have been enjoying seeing my 1yr old interact with them you are doing great !!!!!!!!
If you like the Nested Bean products but the sleep sac is too big, try the Nested Bean “Zen one”. It’s just like the Love to Dream swaddle, but the arm pieces zip off so it would be safe for a rolling baby. And of course it has the weighted chest. My girl is preemie so we love them, they fit her so much better than the other products!
Hi Abby, glad your feeling better and being honest. I too suffered postpartum depression with my first born I didn’t with my second thankfully but I had it way worse with my third baby where I didn’t think he was mine it was so difficult 😥 I used to cry everytime I was feeding him, it was awful don’t get me wrong I adored him I was just not well and with my final pregnancy it was completely different I had an emergency c-section and was very poorly but thankfully i didn’t get post natal depression even though I couldn’t feed him myself has I was too poorly to breastfeed after losing so much blood and needing surgery straight after he was born I felt completely different didn’t need any medication or therapy which was great considering I couldn’t hold him when he was born my mum was the first to hold him but I had such a strong bond with him makes me sad I couldn’t get that with my 3rd son until later on. Navy is gorgeous by the way she is a little dot bless her and your a great Mum. Xx 😘
Always love seeing your videos! My baby is a couple weeks older than yours and I feel like I can super related to a lot of what you share. I'm happy and proud of you for seeking help for your anxiety. My hair loss has finally started to slow down in the past week after a couple months of craziness. I also have no idea how I still have hair! Have you read the AAP latest recommendations with swaddles, sleepersacks, etc?
Me too i am suffering from hair loss , and I know for fact Castor oil is really work for hair growth and thikness do it twice a week. U will see huge diffrent.
Thanks for the great video! So happy you’re better and you look great. Can you do a video on how you lost 40 pounds?? That’s so awesome congrats! Navy is beautiful.
It's so sad the shame and stigma that goes with this. The fact that you were apprehensive to share and had to give a disclaimer about disclaimer for people not to comment before they know you tried everything. Even if you didn't try a thing other than an SSRI, good for you for getting support and help. Rock that! It'll help other moms. Normalize it. You're a good mama.
Nope! Usually 37 weeks is considered full term. However, Navy was born at 38 weeks weighing 6lbs so because she was on the smaller side her pediatrician goes if the premature chart since it’s more accurate as it’s based on their gestational age and not their birth age! 😀
@@AbbyLindquist Ahh okay, thanks for the explanation. I'm a first time mom with baby girl due in October, and I've been really liking your videos. You're very clear and straightforward with all the information that you share. :)
One thing that has helped me is to only wash my hair once a week and only brush my hair when actually needed and not just brush it for the heck of it. You should claw clip hairstyles..that might help keep some of that hair out of your face. I've noticed when I got it in a certain hairstyle that I mess with it less. Sometimes I don't even touch it til the next day because my baby is an attention hog!
new sub here! i'll be 30 weeks pregnant in a couple of days. I wanted to comment and say zoloft (and therapy) has changed my quality of life. I started taking it a couple of years ago and have had many ups and downs with my mental health. ultimately, my OB, my psychiatrist, my husband, and I decided that I should continue taking it throughout pregnancy! (apparently it's the most-studied antidepressant in pregnant people. it's safe for the baby!) i'm so glad you are being open about your traumatic birth experience and the subsequent care you've sought since you knew something wasn't quite right with how you were feeling💕💕💕 so much love and solidarity on your mental health journey!!
Olá sou Monnyka moro em cabeceira , e estou para pergunta o que faz com roupas do(a) baby( criança ) que vocês não usa mais que não cabe ? Not sure if you are aware but they just changed regulations and do not recommend weighted sleepers anymore! (I’m not sure how much the little chick will matter for weight and it’s not very heavy) but just wanted to share this if you were not aware! 🤍🤍
I had that with Westyn once he could no longer be swaddled and he loved it! I honestly forget all about it lol. Definitely going to be trying it with Navy! 😀
So happy for you! Zoloft has changed my life! ✨
Yay! I'm so happy for BOTH of us 🥺🤍
Likewise.
She is so adorable! What a sweet little baby.

I needed the med as well. I would not have gotten through without it. My baby is 10 years now and I still take it. Doc says that is fine.
So glad they helped you! 💛💛

Thank you! Here's a link to it! It's in the color Sandy Beige rstyle.me/+yQJvKwp0Igvym-jjjh1-DQ

I just read them! Such a bummer 😭 Hoping I can find something else she likes that’s not weighted!
Dawwwww, lookit those big blue eyes!!!
Hi Abby 😊 I'm 36wks as of Monday 🎉 I seriously can't believe I'm about to have another baby 💕🍼💝 Omg Navy is so cute and seems like such a good baby 🍼

@@AbbyLindquist yay! Have a great weekend!
Our babies are bday twins, and my girl is also on reflux medicine. It’s such a struggle getting her to take it and keep it down!
Ugh same 😭 I've found giving it to Navy while she has her pacifier in her mouth helps her swallow it down better!

Is two weeks early normally considered premature?
4 weeks early or more is premature
Nope! Usually 37 weeks is considered full term. However, Navy was born at 38 weeks weighing 6lbs so because she was on the smaller side her pediatrician goes if the premature chart since it’s more accurate as it’s based on their gestational age and not their birth age! 😀
