I appreciated what Riz Ahmed alluded to regarding not having a choice to discuss politics. If you can genuinely say "I don't like getting involved in politics" it is in itself a form of privilege. The privilege to not having to deal with the choices of our politicians and how you are treated/seen when you walk out your front door.
And on a less philosophical topic, can we all agree that Riz has B.D.E.? That confidence - yum!

I like how he truly believed he was a good guy as his intention was for the greater good, and so few deaths were simply a small price to pay. • @FP19487

Critics shit on his character and I have no idea why. I think he’s a solid unique antagonist. As someone who loves sci-fi and space exploration, I have a blast seeing the Evil-Elon Musk version here. Philanthropist who search habitable planet and brought back aliens with him, and then infused them with humans to create an intergalactic apex predator. That’s sci-fi (or horror lol) fans wet dream right there. I hate to say this but I agree with him, tho ofc he’s stupid enough to be tricked by Riot.. Kinda sad that he’s dead coz can you imagine the symbiote invasion? That would be insane. Hope this isn’t the last time we see that idea.

I love his acting in Venom. You can just tell that this is guy who his entire life told people about climate change with them yelling him to shut the F*CK up. He finally becomes a billionaire (one of the most powerful people on the planet) and still gets ignored. It all cumulates into a successful, powerful, introvert who has a tone of uncertainty whenever he speaks. Its something really fascinating that ive never seen in film before
