i like the point at 2:19 where it goes "Hey, I just solved a cube! ...What do you mean there's pieces insiOH MY GOD I'M STILL NOT DONE" and the part at 3:25 where it goes "Finally I'm done with the shell, time to do the tiny 3x3x3 inside it."
You know, this looks a lot more doable than I expected. Still crazy impressive and not something I ever imagine I would complete, but at least I can comprehend _how_ solving this works.
That is freaking incredible! It looks like some kind of futuristic space engine. New challenge: Can you do a solve like that which never appears solved on the outside until it's truly solved?
Every time something pops into or out of existence is it moving in the 4th dimenstion, same with those pieces that look like they're smaller and like on the inside I think
There were a couple points where I actually felt like I understood - unfortunately, then The Cube Consumed during what looked like some last layer work, and it just looked like nonsense.
8 cubes actually. A regular cube has 6 faces, so in the fourth dimension each of those faces becomes its own cube and you add 2 more cubes to line up with the new spatial vertex, otherwise you'd have a 4-dimensional hole in your Rubix cube.
So this is a representation of the surface of a 4d cube, which I guess is basically a 3d sphere. I'm assuming that means that, in this picture, you're always omitting one side of the cube? I'm imagining dojng this for the 3d Rubio cube, drawing the surface of a cube on a flat piece of paper, with an inner square, an outer square, and four edges connecting the respective vertices, which gives us 7 faces, and then the last one overlaps everything in 2d so we can't see it simultaneously.
I thought this might make it easier to understand. I must say, I still don’t know what’s going on.
Thanks for the cool video
It's better to see the expanded version or download the app.

i wish i can comprehend how it works
As a regular cuber I feel so proud being able to recognize a lot of the algorithms used
Rubik's expert: If you can solve a 3x3 you can solve a 3x3x3x3x3x3x3x3
my nerd friends actually on his way to solve 3^7 rn, hes 1/30 done after 10 hours 💀
@@KotegawaYuithis is the kind of challenge that drove mathematicians to go mad and kill themselves bruh i wish him luck
“Hey, can you solve a 3x3?”
“No, but I can solve a 3^11?”
1:43 "ok, this doesnt look too ba- WHAT THE HELL IS EVEN THAT!"
when the 4d cube starts to regurgitate

It’s certainly possible! I might try it at some point, thanks for the idea!
RKT 💀
Also this makes the puzzle look so much cleaner and understandable
yeah it actually does somehow because a piece is actually a piece, instead of random floating stickers
I hate how I understand it and that makes me even more confused
Every time something pops into or out of existence is it moving in the 4th dimenstion, same with those pieces that look like they're smaller and like on the inside I think
Imagine being solves away from doing it, but then you dropped it and it faded into the 4th dimension
There were a couple points where I actually felt like I understood - unfortunately, then The Cube Consumed during what looked like some last layer work, and it just looked like nonsense.
i’ve never tried much beyond a 3x3x3, but i might try and learn how to solve this, cool video
This is how a rubik's cube normal solve looks to non cubers
fun how the cube can look solved from one slice yet still be far from it in another
ppl be solving those things and i dont even know how to turn a face on it
you have irreparably damaged me
In all the chaos, I thought I saw a R U R' U R U2 R'; unfortunately this notation I don't think applies to 3x3x3x3s
Blud had to solve 3 cubes 3 times 💀
Looks pretty simple to solve 😂
So this puzzle is just like a cube in a cube?

3*3*3*3 Rubix hypercube
Guys help my brain is turning into mush
cubes within cubes
cubeception
Why do this to yourself tho
(Although i must say i'm impressed)
Should be a default setting tbh
Hyperubikscube
I think this is somehow easier to comprehend than a regular rubix cube
excuse me what
what
Only thing missing is funkytown playing in the background so I feel as dumb as possible watching this
what
yeah, pretty much
2:41 the hell are you even doing here?! all i see are random flashes of 4d shards of pieces
It's moving the inside layers, but the software is glitching out and shows the inside layers on the outside.
Yep moving the side in the middle, which we can’t see form that angle when the others are blocking.
As a four dimensional creature i can confirm this is what our rubix cubes solves look like.

Where can I download it?
here :D ajfarkas.dev/hyperspeedcube/
I'm watching this at 5 am and it makes my brain go :(

This is really cool
