Expanding C minor Pentatonic Scale adding the 3rd, b7, 9th and 6th

Combining a few scales. This could work over Major or minor or Dom 7 chord families. Take care, if a note sounds sour, move it up or down one fret and you'll probably land on a good one. Thinking like this opens up a lot of possibilities. Taking a short break. I will be back. Thank you! I blame watching Joe Pass improv Jazz. I knew there was a way to mix and add notes to a scale and now im seeing they can mix. Moreover Im seeing more of the larger way they all fit in.. with a week maybe i can attenpt a new solo i may post on my new (used) Epiphone Wildkat i got as a early birthday gift.

I forgot about this kind of scale pattern strategy. I think it might be close to what you are looking for. In this scale we have combined elements of Major and minor scales plus a little bit of the blues scale. The best of all worlds. You will realize any note can be used if it pleases the player. Some notes will sound incorrect at times, but there are other times those notes can be justified.
