PROS of joining the Hive 1. Insects have a large amount of natural extension to help play through interaction 2. 3 Normal Summons (your 'normal' one, Sachi's ritual summon, and Armor Horn) 3. Easy to trigger mass destruction effects being Beargram, Grand Partisan,, and sometimes Ultimate Great Insect 4. Varied interaction (Dance's pop, Partisan's effect, Cavalry's banish, Stag's 2 monster pops, Sting Lancer's GY shuffling, etc) 5. Resonance Insect feels pretty stupid with how many times you can trigger it 6. Pretty consistent getting to Rapier and your other monsters 7. Can order chains via Wind to effectively chain block monster effects from interaction such as Ash blossom and other 'WHEN' statements CONS of the Hive 1. DROLL outright destroys your turn 2. A well timed Nibiru drastically effects your end board 3. An early hard lock into the Insect monster type; which for the ED has limited options 4. Absolute Hercules and Super Poly can out your board if say your friend group/locals catches onto your deck choice The meme replay video featuring the deck: th-cam.com/video/5786jNUqAeY/w-d-xo.html
i've been watching your videos for years, your first battlewasp video was my introduction to a synchro deck, a mechanic which i was not a fan of. Ever since i li have had a sweet spot for the cards. Over the years i understood that your channel was meant to appeal to a more casual audience and more character based decks. That being said i consider this video one of if not the best one out of every other in your channel. Extremely educational with great tips for anyone who wants to get into the deck and/or make their own personal version that fits their playstyle. Didnt do much for me since i have tested these cards to the ground ever since they have been announced but i still made it to the end. Congratulations on this masterpiece, be proud of your growth.
If only the Extra Deck limit is 20 cards. It sucks in seeing cards getting tossed out due to being sqeezed out of the ED due to new ED stuff, all due to the space is so tight.
I would picture something of more insanity like a 60 bug pile with Ragnraika since grass is legal in Tcg. For now. And definitely needs the stop playing the game kind of Yu-Gi-Oh Weevil would have played
Definitely fine to go over 40 with this deck since there are so many good options, but Grass really isn’t spectacular in insect pile. There are some powerful graveyard effects in this deck, but most of them are hard once per turn like Gokipole, Praying Mantis, or Beargram, and none of them are play starters, but you can easily get to each of them during a normal combo off Sting, Rapier or Armed Rebeelion
