As a "qualified diesel mechanic", I'd say you're using the term loosely in her case. In 45 years, I've never worked with or seen a "qualified" female mechanic, whether it be diesel or otherwise. My gran will be 98 next month , i think about how much history that generation witnessed .born in '24 and grew up in the dirty thirties on a farm in Saskatchewan, made it thru WW2 but lost her first love in the war, saw everything from covered wagons to men walking on the moon . I spent as much time as I could with her for many days, yet one eve I had to attend an event just for 2 hours to see my son play an important football game. And right in middle of the game, I get a called that she had died. We can't plan these things.

This is not true, Harry didn't arrive until the evening and the Queen had already died by that stage. Parliament was notified around 1630hrs that the Queen had died so not even William, Edward or Andrew were there either.

5 years ago, my 89-yo mother was very sick, and she came home to hospice. I spent as much time as I could with her for many days, yet one eve I had to attend an event just for 2 hours to see my son play an important football game. And right in middle of the game, I get a called that she had died. We can't plan these things.

This is not true, Harry didn't arrive until the evening and the Queen had already died by that stage. Parliament was notified around 1630hrs that the Queen had died so not even William, Edward or Andrew were there either.
