  • Hello everyone this is my first ever reaction to deja vu by uki violeta! uki violeta is a vtuber for the vtuber group Nijisanji EN under Anycolor. He seems to be an incredible vocalist and I'm super excited to check out his original song for the very first time. I'm a metalhead, super big fan of metallica, judas priest, nightwish, powerwolf, beast in black, etc. so this music is a super fun adventure to discover and explore! This is my metalhead reaction to deja vu uki violeta!!!
Check out the song here: • "Deja Vu" - Uki Violet...

the narration is fulgur! fulgur actually said he hates how he sounds while narrating, lol
anyways; this analysis was just as beautiful as the song, you mentioned so many details that i never noticed, the composition of this song is really something special! i cant wait to see more uki reactions, he really is a super talented musician

Oh good to know, I quite like how fulgur narrated there, but I suppose one tends to be their own harshest critic, haha!
Thank you for the kind words, this song had an incredibly beautiful composition and just as talented of a vocalist to accompany it! I'll definitely be checking out more from Uki!

Another really good original by Uki is Lunam. It’s a 1 year anniversary song for Noctyx.

Damn, you keep blowing me away with your amazing analysis of these songs, it's so insightful and entertaining to watch!
I remember when I watched Noctyx debut and honestly hearing this song at 2am almost made me cry, especially at the last chorus. I never tire of listening it!
Now I'm excited for the time you cover Vox's New Cydonia, which is also produced by Pretty patterns, with backing vocals by Enna. It's plot related too so it'll be interesting to see your take on it ^^
Can't wait for your next video, keep it up! 👍🏻

I've listened to this song so many times but I learned a lot more from your insight! Hope you react more to Uki as he still has 2 covers and 2 original songs 💜

You analyzed the song so well! It really did not feel like 21 minutes. You brought up so many things that I missed even though I've listened to the song so many more times lol. If you want to check out more of his original songs, I'd recommend Lunam, a song for Noctyx's 1st anniversary. Keep up the good work, love your vids!

Hi scribble! i've been marathoning your reaction videos on Nijisanji originals and covers! and i have to say, your analysis and breakdown on the songs have been not only entertaining, but also very insightful as well! i really love these types of song reaction videos, especially coming from a fellow musician and/or music enjoyer, because they always make me appreciate the music and artists so much better, and open up another whole layer of depth that i maybe have missed or just completely not notice from just listening casually. As a Niji fan and music enjoyer: thank you so much for making these. I hope to see more of them!

    OH
I found you yesterday and subscribed because you say a lot of interesting things and I was looking to see if you'd reacted to Déjà vu and Waltz of Malice so it's a pleasant surprise to see you've actually done it now! thank you for sharing your thoughts with us :)
P.S : i have a very untrained ear and i was wondering how do you identify the sound of a synth in a song with multiple instruments, if you don't mind explain to me and it is within your capacity? i am really bad at identifying instruments overall outside of piano and violin

    • @ScribbleTheTalkingSketch
      @ScribbleTheTalkingSketch  ปีที่แล้ว +5

Thank you for watching and subscribing as well!
Regarding the sound of a synth, I suppose the best way to put it is that it sounds very "digital". It's hard for me to describe in words, and in general, listening to different synths will be the best way to improve at identifying them, but I'll try to explain how I think of them as best as I can!
The synth is essentially like a piano but electric. However, unlike a keyboard that plays samples at different pitches in response to which key you press, a synth will generally be more elongated, often used for ambience or oscillating notes. Many synths also tend to have a wavering quality. Synths are essentially using electronic frequencies that oscillate in order to replace traditional acoustic tones. So a distorted electric guitar may have a similar sound to a certain synth, but when they both play a chord, the guitar is going to start and end the chord more naturally than a synth that may just attack the notes immediately when the appropriate signals are received and then cut off once the signals cease. Of course there are different synths and effects out there, but that difference can help you start looking for comparisons to make between synth notes and acoustic/traditional notes. Aside from that, synths are going to sound generally more "digital", and I know that may not help if you don't know what to look for. All I can really recommend is that you try listening to synths versus other instruments that you may be confusing them with, and then see if you can pick them out more easily the more you listen!
I hope that was of some help. I'm by no means an expert, but I'd like to think that I have enough insight to assist here and there!
