Covering shinsei kamattechan is such a power move! I think part of the reason why she chose this was definitely her interest in vocal production and sound mixing even if she hasn't done it here according to the credits. its such an intensely layered piece both instrumentally and vocally. Man Kronii is freakin awesome! If youre looking for recommendations on new hololive songs, definitely check out Ina's new song Meconopsis, i think you will really enjoy it!

Thank you so much for reacting to this song. It's one of my favorite NijiEN songs. Sonny and Shu continues to amaze me with their vocals. They really have come a long way ever since their debut. As for the JP side, I hope you can react to 革命デュアリズム (Kakumei Dualism) by Hayato Kagami and Lize Helesta. It's was originally sung by TM Revolution and Nana Mizuki so you can expect a powerful clash of voices.

Yayy glad you got to watch this one! Was looking forward to it since this track is pretty polished compared to the other Niji EN originals (I think a big factor in this is the producers being pretty active within the Kpop scene) so it was nice to hear what you thought about it! Infinity is part of a new monthly Nijisanji EN project where they take 2 random members and put them on an original song! Next one is featuring Ren and Doppio and it’ll be releasing June 12th!

aa thank you for reacting, I always like seeing your outlook on these songs and all the details I've missed!! if you wanted to hear more from sonny + also from Ike, they recently did a duet of "howling" on sonny's stream where Ike's vocals were prerecorded and sonny sang alongside those. the volume for Ike was quite low, and there are versions posted where it's been increased, which I think would be better!! either way, thank u for the video again!!

It's fun that you've listened to Ado's cover of Aishite before since Octavia said that hers was one of the two biggest inspirations for this cover, the other being the one done by Kanade Izuru of Holostars JP! I'd highly recommend listening to Izuru's version, it is the definitive version of this song and has been since I first listened to it 3 years ago.

im not sure how interested you are in things outside of vtubers but i really recommend looking at Plave!! theyre not vtubers but its a very similar concept to their 3Ds theyre a virtual idol kpop group and they compose and choreograph their own music! i think theyre super talented and i really think youd like them they have og songs, covers, and they have live streams to interact with their fans pretty often all their songs are great and i especially like their you were beautiful cover & bamby and noah’s dangerously cover i hope you consider checking them out 🫶 i love your reactions

The constant switch ups with his pitches and tone keeps you on the edge of your seat everytime, it's such an unsettling feeling. 3:57 I was expecting a smooth and consistant lift, similar to how other covers do it, and even the original. But the way Octavio just says screw that, and belts out the scream with all the air in his lungs is just so raw I love it. And I guess with the context of the song, it kinda gives off a "desparate/painful scream" vibe, it's really interesting

What I rly like about Kiara in terms of singing abilities is that she does slight vocal flips(?) which is used a lot for this song (and some of her original songs and unarchived karaokes) and I don't find a lot of singers utilize that technique other than her (not sure how else to describe the vocal technique but it's like how Shakira sings lelolelolelo in Whenever Wherever). I have the same feeling that the song mainly focus on showcasing the vocal, it is also rare to see unnämed goes for a high pitch soft song, I really like the harmony part! Mine is surely a talented guitarist, his mature guitar playing skills are admirable, the music arrangement strengthens the tacit understanding between music and vocals. The place where you aware that the guitar sounds weird, I believe it is cause by an export issue😭 as unnämed have added in the description that the MV had a double audio problem, fortunately, they fixed that in the streaming version, if you willing to listen it again, you can found out on the link they typed in the description! Moreover, yesterday Dacapo has just released a 'SPECIALZ' rock version cover which is a duet with Unnämed, if you are interested let's check it out~ Unnämed has posted a 'Shanti' cover recently too!

I like the song and really like the disco vibe she was going with (I hope she explores it a bit more in the future), but definitely can agree with your critique on the structure and repetition of the verses. And based on her previous covers, I think you're right that Nerissa is definitely capable of more projected vocals when desired. So personally, I wouldn't say you were being too harsh or critical on the song. Perhaps she was just going for a more catchy/danceable tune that she'll be able to do with choreography on stage without worrying too much about her voice. Afterall, their first originals generally end up being a HoloMem's go-to song for a while at events. Either way, I really hope she continues working on more originals and especially also continues writing her own lyrics (She's one of a few that has done so and I love to see it).

I definitely love the disco revival idea here, very danceable song. I feel like nerissa specifically wanted to have a little departure from her cover songs which are all very focussed on showing of her amazing vocal talent and power. I think she mightve wanted to show a different side of herself here and go more for vibes while still having a lot of fun with the vocals on here which she clearly had. Awesome song.

As somebody who really likes the song, I can tell you're not being harsh. Based on general critism around the song by a few people, I think yours aligns well with them so your thoughts are not unwarranted nor unfounded. For a three minute song, having no variation in lyric, structure or sound on the second verse definitely makes the song repetitive, but Ig this is growing pains for Nerissa since she's just starting out. Knowing her, she'll probably ego search discover a lot of the critiques, so hopefully she'll be able to take notes and work on improving herself at least lyric-wise (vocals are almost perfect already).

I loved the song, still do. But did feel like it needed a little extra oomf. Just because we know what Nerissa is capable of.
