It seems to me when there is something for quilting even though it's been other places before it costs 4 times as much. Also I would expect quilting items not plates and stickers.
A dollar a button? I will live without a snowman. Is the thread - - 3 spools of a 110 feet per spool? That I can live with. Definitely looking forward to your "mystery bag" reveal. Always fun! The fabric was fine! Your quilting was quite unique! I like putting a lot of curves onto a straight line quilt. Turnstiles looked very fun.
I haven’t received mine and the finishing kit is sold out. Can you post what are the fabrics required not included to try to take advantage of the black Friday if there is any left or find equivalents! Thanks!!!
@ super thanks!! Happy thanksgiving by the way! Now that I read my msg, Sorry I didn’t even said hello was cleaning and watching YT so was holding 10 things and didn’t even notice I went straight to my question.
I love the quilting on the half-square triangle quilt. So glad that I did not buy the Jolly Box this year. The items were nice, but nothing that I would decide to purchase for myself. In fact, I did not purchase any Christmas fabric this year because there were no lines that I loved. I did spend a lot of money on fabric in November, though. I bought two layers cakes of Tula Pink Untamed, and then I bought yardage of my favorite prints plus some Untamed wideback. I don’t know if I like the feel of the Free Spirit Untamed sateen yardage. Have you long-armed any quilts that used Free Spirit cotton sateen? I used my Fat Quarter Shop discount to buy two colors of Grunge wideback yardage just in case I decide against the sateen for the Untamed quilt I have planned. I also bought a couple of spools of Aurifil thread. I’m assuming that price increases will be coming in 2025, so I’m stocking up on thread and batting. My fabric stash is big enough to last a long time. I really enjoyed your Jolly Box opening, and I’m looking forward to seeing what came in your mystery bag. My order wasn’t quilt large enough to qualify for a bag.
Yes I have! They are a little more difficult to longarm because you have to really watch the backing because it’s slinky. You don’t want to end up with tucks and puckers.
@@coffeecakequiltcompany Thanks. I thought that it would be too slippery for me when I was quilting on my home sewing machine. I guess I would need to do a lot of extra basting if I decided to try it.
I used to subscribe to quarterly boxes , but fairly quickly found out what a waste of money they were. Same notions, cheap trivets, lotions, boring pattern etc. I think these boxes contain items that don’t sell well, and so are used to fill boxes. I’m actually surprised that this trend continues.
I think they’re best for new quilters. After almost 6 years, I’m definitely at capacity for certain notions and I do agree that the patterns can be boring. I tend to gravitate more towards the patterns made by the actual fabric designers. They have more interest.
I love your video and the way that you present the items (I even am enjoying your background music!) - but a constructive suggestion?? Would it be possible to talk just a little bit slower? Thanks for a great vide9!
Great video. Love watching your unboxings. I'm so glad I didn't get the box.
Thanks so much! ❤️
The turnstile quilt is adorable!
Thanks so much! 😁
Adorable box. Can’t wait for mine to come tomorrow! Thanks for sharing.
Enjoy!! 🎄

The thread is 110 ft per spool. Not bad. ☺️
I love Sweetwater!

No problem! I’ll post it now on the community page.

Happy Thanksgiving! No worries! ❤️
So total of $80'sh. They usually have cool boxes.
Yeah, they do a great job curating them!

Yes, for sure!

Eh. $30 for buttons? And 2/3 were just round black ones? That would’ve ticked me off if I paid for that box.
The box was wonderful but yes, I was sticker shocked at the buttons for sure.
@@coffeecakequiltcompany just another button company buttons are really expensive!
I didn’t realize that. I’m glad I don’t use buttons too often.

I checked Amazon. $7.99 for 200 similar button set. My big reservation regarding the Jolly Box is the inflated value estimate.
I was very disappointed in my box!
Oh no! I’m sorry! What didn’t you like about it?
It’s projects I will probably never do. I like tha fabric
That makes sense. FQ’s are so versatile. I’m sure you’ll find a great pattern for them! 🎄
back away from the camera, everything you put up to show was way too close
Thank you for the feedback. ☺️
A little early for a reveal given some of us don’t have our boxes yet
It’s a spoiler and I don’t show the contents in the thumbnail so you can scroll past if you don’t want to know what’s in the box.
