Also, the odds of ever being in a situation like this are very low. Planes don't crash on US airlines. The last commercial plane crash in US airspace was ten years ago.

The alternative version has different visuals as well. On the seatbelt verse, the shot where the attendant lip syncs to the spoken segment is changed to a group of attendants dancing while holding the Virgin America 'booklet?' On the ending speech, the part where cellular devices have to be in airplane mode has the vocals change into a robotic tone and the shot changes into one of the robot dancers dancing with a baby carrier.

Plus the aforementioned emergency exit lyrics are for the A321neo, since that is the type they used for their final flight and their A321s don't have overwing exits.

The lyrics are mostly the same with alterations based on FAA guidelines at the time (or probably depending on the plane). Lyrics in caps are the changed lyrics, and the song is slightly longer.

@@juxtaposedlime2734 Extra info: for whatever reason the Oxygen Mask part have a unique extra instrumental track during on-board use compared to the official upload here. Also i recall seeing a video years that goes over the differences between the old and revised version here, but i have 0 clue where that video went, and the revised part isn't some amateur recording, its fully digital. Plus the aforementioned emergency exit lyrics are for the A321neo, since that is the type they used for their final flight and their A321s don't have overwing exits.
