There should be a - button when you hold down on your screen then click remove from Home Screen don’t delete it cause it won’t work:)

No bc I now have the new version with my icon and the original version:/
You have to keep both versions so that the app's data isn't removed, but you can hide the original from view by tapping and holding on the app, tapping 'Remove' then tap 'Remove from Home Screen'.
Idk y this is happening but I changed the icons and everything but instead of opening TH-cam and it being TH-cam I open TH-cam and it’s calendar or something

OMG TYSM! There’s one problem though, when i added the app icon, it worked, yeah but there’s the new icon and the old one so bacically two same apps with different Icons, what do i do?
delete the original from your Home Screen! dont delete the app altogether, just from the Home Screen! (long press Home Screen, when it starts shaking in fear, press the minus button, then remove from Home Screen OR long press specific app, select delete app, then select remove from Home Screen)

Press on the original app and do “remove from homescreen.” The shortcut should still be there, hope this helped! ^^

Is there a reason why mine isn’t replacing but rather adding. For example I added one for Snapchat but my original Snapchat is still there
But for example when I search up spotify on my Home Screen , (I renamed it and changed the photo) it shows both versions. I only want it to show the edited one
