Hey Mathew, Gina from Maribynong again. Just about to order my first miltoniopsis rubenesqe one. Now I wonder if it will be ok in the Melbourne summer inside?
Oh it should be - mine are in a cool but bright spot downstairs - I've also kept them outside in summer in a cool dappled light spot - either should be fine! Good luck!

Bravo!!! Thank you for tackling this subject. Mine grow in the same space indoors but, miltonia sits on an upper shelf with more sunlight.
Ah! And does yours flower well there? I'm all for trying to keep simple!
@@helloplantlovers yes! It's working on 4 new growths at the moment. Bloomed last fall. I bought it as a seedling a while ago.
@@besottedorchids3605 Excellent!
I really appreciated this video! I keep getting them confused… now I won’t! Unless I forget. (Roll eyes)

What a wonderful explanation of the differences of these “kissing cousins”. I love both and have killed my share! But keep trying.
They can be trying! Good luck!
