    This is an awesome video. I have a exhaust leak somewhere into the coolant circuit. My coolant looks like capuccino foam... I feel confident to change the head gasket and some of the other engine seals thanks to this video. Thank you

      Hi Diogo! Thank for your comment. According to the information you give us , your vehicle could has a oil-coolant mixture. This might proceed from the cylinder head gasket, cylinder head cracked, block craked , etc. Check all these components. Best regards

    Great man. I'm thinking of looking inside the engine cause it developed an intake air leak, lost perormance and hises on accelerating times on load. I did check on the intake hoses to the engine and they seem ok. So the problem is somwhere in the engine. Also I've noticed some oil spray on the left side around the vacuum pump. Still. you should have cleaned inside a bit at 2:52

      Hi! Thank for your comment. Check the intake hoses getting air pressure and seeing if the pressure drops. The intercooler could be cracked.
      Regarding to the oil leak, clean the area and check where the oil comes from.
      Finally, yes, we clean all the components, but we should have cleaned this area better.

      @@AjusaAutomotive To clean the cabon deposit on my turbo I used Valvoline turbo and egr cleaner. It disolves the carbon deposits in an instant.Thanks for the tip. I did check on the intake hoses but does not seem to be anything wrong with them. I did check by hand to see if it delivers presure before the intake flap and it seems it does have quite a presure on accelerations. Didn't hear any hissing. So I'm thinking that it could be in the engine. I do remember that an mechanic didn't pour those sealant drops before placing back that plastic cover. Like you did in this video.

      @@crigeorge9549 Thanks for the tip with cleaning process. The sealant product is necessary to prevent oil leaks in the area where we applied it.

      @@AjusaAutomotive I discovered the air leak in the intercooler out hose to the intake flap. where is joining with the flap asembly right bellow. I suspect that the sprayed oil in that area and on the thermostat was from that crack. Is it normal that there's a small quantity of oil flow in the intake air circuit? The only place it could be is from the turbo. However there's no play in the turbo shaft to indicate a loss of oil from the oil that feeds the turbo. Many persons with this engine I heard that they found oil in the air circuit. Also, my car engine consumes alot of oil. around 2l I have to fill during a 15.000 km maintenance. the engine has 278000km. I suspect the oil gets burned in to the conbustion chamber. Could this be the reason the turbo vnt gets stuck because of the carbon build up in 5000 km or because of its usage in city environment ? I shift gears at 2500-2800rpm most of the time.

      @@crigeorge9549 The oil inside of intake hoses is so usual. This oil coms from the turbocharger shaft. In the turbocharger core there are 2 components, the bearing and the oil seals. If the bearing is in bad conditions, the turbochargter shaft will have play. It the oil seals are in bad conditions, the turbocharger will have oil leak through, but it may not have play. Therefore, you turbo could has the oil seals in bad conditions. The oil comsumption could be due to the reason explained before. Best regards

    This engine is different than mine. Mine it's also 1.5 but 732 and the egr intake is in the left related to the turbo. This engine has it's egr intake n the right of the turbo. I found a posible masive oil leak , inside cilynder 1injector and glowplug casing. (the one to the timing side) The injector and the glowplug is wet of engine oil close to tip. I suspect it be from the valve stems seals. Could it be from other place? like the gasket or piston rings?

    • @AjusaAutomotive
      @AjusaAutomotive  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! The oil leakage could be proceed from the cylinder head gasket, the valve stem seals, a crack on the cylinder head or block, etc. Best regards
