Red winged Black birds eating ticks and mites off the back of a deer, "Symbiotic Relationship"

Watch how the Red-Winged Blackbirds land on the deer and eat the mites, ticks and bugs off her.
What you will see is called a Symbiotic Relationship".
and in this case its a Mutualism Symbiotic Relationship, which means both parties benefit from the relationship.
The deer gets "debugged" and the birds get a "meal". Both benefit and both are happy

I love this video! Our red-winged blackbirds just came back. We live in Ohio & I wonder how far north they migrate in the summer.

I grew up in Ohio, but now I live in Massachusetts and I usually see the red-winged blackbirds most of the year. They do fly south for our winters..
