Thanks for the tips Brian, tried using this when it came out but i de-activated all of the x-box gamebar stuff since i prefer using Nvidia's Geforce Experience recording program as it comes with it free and you can set many different preferences including bitrate,quality...many more,but thanks again for the tips!

So you can't record a streaming video coming from a website basically. So it's kind of a pointless exercise to learn this. There are some serious limitations

Is there a way to record certain parts of the screen (and also audio from the computer, like a video playing) that's similar to Quicktime with Mac OS? It was so easy to just drag a box over what I wanted to record, make sure SoundFlower was up, and done. Not happy with the run-around PC is giving me.

I like this and did not know about it. Win+Alt+R easy enough. To access file, type in Captures in the start menu. Works great. Win+Alt+R should record it. Seems to work with TH-cam to capture video you might want to watch later.
