Ken and Thia, I just wanted to say how much i've enjoyed watching your videos! They are very informational and entertaining! You guys are such an inspiration, attempting the PCT with all that's been going on this year. Kudo's to you and Goldilock's for what you're doing, under very adverse conditions. I will share in your excitement, when you reach "The Northern Terminus!" May God Bless and keep you safe!
My Adams wilderness has a lot of stunning views but a lot of up and down. You got there right during their heatwave too. I was there for that in the vicinity helping my mom. But you got some stunning views cuz of the sunny weather. Hope you all are staying safe through this record fire season
Nice to see your last meal with that group of hikers. I remember Colors, he was a sweet guy. God bless Finn. All the best to you 3 the rest of the way. Thanks for sharing.
Ahh, the 'vortex' demon strikes again!! We had a bit of that going on up at Rainy Pass last week... but I went up again yesterday, and it's really thinning out! I think only 3 PCTers went thru, and another 3 today! I spent the night in Winthrop and went up to Harts Pass with 'Mad Baker" to haul out 8 hikers that he knew were coming out, after seeing them at Rainy last week. I think we had hikers from at least 5 different countries in the group.... interesting to hear their stories. Hopefully you're not getting hit by too much rain, but right now, at least 'some' is a good thing. Take care, Ed
RIP Finn: Interesting history watching your videos. I see you are still on the trail. It’s funny, you can tell you are getting to the tail end of the trail when you see friends and as you are leaving to hit the trail, you wonder whether you will see them again on the trail, or ever. Keep up the good work. Trek On my friends!!!!
Good evening. Still knocking off the miles. Good for you! I hope the smoke isn't being too much of a hinderence. Anyway, continue to be safe, take good care. 🙂
I remember reading about Finn's death last year. I guess if there is a lesson to be learned, look up before you sit down. Also, it always concerns me walking through a burned area. Stay safe and Hike On!

Thank you Vicki! Recent fires and very poor air quality are keeping us off trail, but we plan to get back on as soon as we can.

Wow...how much weight has Skipper lost? She looks incredibly fit. 😊
At one point she said she was down 30 lbs but was way too thin. She's put back on about 10 lbs and feels healthier now.

Finn's death was so sad; it hit everyone so hard up and down the trail. I would have liked to see the no shirt & kilt look-very Braveheartish,
