The flat moon snails are also called baby’s ears. If you turn them over they look like a baby ear. Great video and generous fan mystery box.
Fantastic gift. Just a suggestion - Rather than struggling with scissors to open it, use an exacto knife - it will easily open it in seconds 🙂
Those shells are just beautiful. I live in the gulf of Mexico. Panama city Florida. I see all different kinds of shells. When u come to the states again you should come to the gulf. Love the new puppy. Very sweet. Chow for this time.
What a fabulous collection that has been gifted to you!!! I am just started being interested in shells, and I watch your videos over and over to try to gain as much knowledge as I can about them. We don't live near the coast, but we do visit the beach occasionally, so I may be able to have a small collection one day. Thank you for sharing your collections with us, it means alot!!!

All of those are awesome shells, and your collection is amazing! Being from Minnesota which is at the top of North America close to Canada, we don't get any shells. Been to Florida and found some, but not anything this cool! Would love to have some of those some day :)

my dad brought me back one of those big supre cowries with the cool pattern from the maldives to sydney which is where i live alng iwht a deer blue coral and an old snakehead its so pretty and it sits on my maleup vantiy

Love the nautilus.i have one myself i bought years ago.i got a polished one from Tunisia but gave it to my good friends.it was stunning! You make me want to hit the coast to try and find shells now but living in Northern Ireland we have nothing as fancy as what you find!
Are those flat snails Baby Ears? I find similar shells when we visit the Gulf of Mexico. Yours appear to be more dense, but, very similar.
What a nice gift I loved them all but I thought that huge olive was gorgeous and I loved the murex all the shells were beautiful thanks for opening them with us
P.P.S. since it's pouring rain, you can pull out your shell I.D. books & look up those shells 🐚 😎

Maldives is in the south of India and they found them i also find those here cool
The 'Maldives' are Islands Southwest off the tip of India.
I have a large red pipe organ coral (about the size of 1.5 mens shoeboxes) and a large blue dragging coral that just fits in a 20L bucket. I've had both of them for 20 years. 😁
