They gave us all 9ep to enjoy that song as a happy feeling then took one episode to use it to destroy us emotionally 😄 bravo good sirs
And they accomplished their mission flawlessly
In response to a question about the Cyberskeleton not present in game, the CDPR producer stated the Cyberskeleton was deemed an overengineered failure.
It cost way to much to develop, and Adam Smasher was able to single handedly defeat David.
Man, gotta love how deep the lore goes
As much as I hate to say it, they made really made Smasher feel like an unstoppable threat in the show. He was badass as hell… that being said RIP David
Lucy always wanted to go to the moon until she met David
David became her moon
That's why we see them in front of the moon whenever they kiss, and why even the last episode is called My Moon My Man
If only David had seen that...
Or if Lucy talked about what the hell is going on, and why she quit the team. Bet a lot of this wouldn't have happened. They would have dipped right then.
@@DigitalDNA imo can't blame David or Lucy for bad communication, at the end of the day they are very young and don't have a lot of life experience with that kinda thing

David wanted Lucy to go to the moon because that's what she said her dream was, but when she went to the moon it was just for David.
Good thing you’re currently playing through the game. Get a chance to kill Smasher yourself; avenge David and Becca.

Small spoiler : you can find some edgerunners elements in the game, so be sure to kill smasher with, let's say, Becca's memento, after you've drunk to David's memory ;-p

I keep watching this series hoping for a different ending, but the pain never stops.
I cant even watch it again..its hurts so much
You can find a BD of the cyberpsycho from ep 1 that mentions david at the end of it and then you can contact falco and do a mission for him to get davids jacket.
I actually just finished that side quest in my “Let’s Play” that’s such a cool thing to add into the game
David never really fulfilled Lucy's dream. When they met going to the moon was her dream but after Lucy fell in love him her dream changed. All Lucy really wanted was to be with David and leave Night City together, and he never realized that. He had become her moon and when he died so did her dream. In the end going to the moon simply became an escape and a way for Lucy to honor the sacrifice of the man she loved. The show is at its core a Romantic Tragedy.
Have you watched the official clip of the ending music theme ( let you down ) ? It's an animated one, telling the story of the edgerunner that was replaced by Kiwi before we met the group.

This absolutely mind broke me I felt just as dead brained as Licy now all o will think that Lucy is just saving David’s earnings and jacket cuz that’s all she has from him and the house and Falco that’s it. I’m literally just as broken as I was before and I don’t know what to say about it David and Licy both were there for David and David was there just for the fallen
Lucy may have been his girl but Becca was his ride or die
