The same time SRK's son was getting dragged around the world and shoved in jail for his friend having a couple grams of weed there were literal ships filled with way stronger drugs at Adani's port, something that not a single of those sellout news channels covered. It's actually comical how corrupted our once great country is.
Remember Karan Johar's interview when he said he was too scared to say hello to SRK for the first time as there was buzz he was arrogant and rude. But when kjo talked to him he turned out to be the sweetest person. This was the experience of everyone! His image was created as arrogant so people wouldn't like him. He was portrayed as crazy as he was an outsider succeeding! His contemporaries couldn't take that.

1. SRK's burden isn't limited to film. He is frequently called to various types of events, not as an actor but as an ambassador. Recently called for voiceover on parliament inauguration. Non-filmy World works has made him known as someone of importance even to the people who don't watch movies.
2. The acceptance of his own mistakes and saying sorry publicly to the accidents and controversies made fans of other hero's to love him too. e.g. His respect for Jaya and Bachchan made it easy for the fans of Bachchan to love him without any issues. Same with Salman , Amir. Same with accident of USA. He insulted himself in his tweets sarcastically. And handled everything with humor. Passing the message loud and clear but not making opponents get offended.
He always navigate controversies with modesty, Sarcasm or humor ; still passing the message loud and clear. This prevents opponents going in combat mode.

Srk is much beyond his films working or not working, honestly. Pathan proved that. If srk was only about his films, the unnecessary hate before pathan, would have gotten to him. But the way people dearly love him shows that it's the person srk we all love. The phase from 2014 to 2022 have been an absolute test for SRK. Everything that could possibly go wrong went wrong with him. From his box office streak, his image, to his role as a father. But still he was never forgotten, he can never be forgotten. The way media framed Aryan showed the dark side of being a superstar's son. I can't even imagine what all King khan went through as a father. His silence was considered his failure by the media, but a year later, he was the one who silenced media down with the success of pathan. I am not surprised that srk stayed away from the media even after his film's blockbuster success. Even now also he doesn't interact with paps so much, and justifyingly so because he can never forget how badly the media framed his son without any proof. The king has rosen, and he will rule again. The recent win of kkr and the family hug that srk had with his children was so wholesome to watch, reflexive of all the past bad memories and enjoying his moment.
