If this wasn't a Strike King product backed by top pros I would have thought it was just another magic gimmick lure. I picked up a couple of the Jr. sizes recently, chartreuse/black back, and Delta Red, and went test out the Chartreuse color in one of the ponds near my house where I know the bass are real picky. In fact I usually have a hard time catching anything in this pond on anything other than a trick worm, Ned Rig, and sometimes a Fluke. So this has become my testing pond for new techniques. I stood out there in the middle of a sunny day, cranked it fast to get it deep, and caught four chunky fish within 15 minutes. All the bites all came working it like a jerk bait with a twitch twitch, pause action, just much faster. Just to be sure, I also threw out a jerk bait and caught zilch. Haven't tried it out from the deck of my boat yet, but so far I'm convinced. I've since picked up six more, LOL!

I bought a old original Lews BB1 today as a sentimental reel because I grew up using one in the 70s back when Shimano made them. Anyone who loves Lews and Shimano and also the innovations in baitcasters needs to be grateful to Lew Childre. I got the box and all the paperwork with it. Still has the original price tag sticker on the box.

These things are hard to come by, not as bad as the 6th sense axis. Although I do have 4 different colors of the hybrid, and one of the JR. I think I like the Jr better but they both have their place.
