I went and filled the deduction tree first, getting the XP boost as early as possible is huge. Then I got level 6 in Engineering to open safes which will contain high XP criminal evidence. After that I focused on Vitality to get more health and shield regen capsules. Next was armour. I ignored the psychology tree. Great news, the devs posted that they're working on NG+ for the next update early in 2024.
I hate when there's not enough skill points in games to unlock everything. Games that do this should simply add an optional xp boost, just in case the player wants to do a terminator playthrough....
@@tomd4748 it doesn't kill replayability. At the end of the day it's your choice whether you replay the game or not.. just like it would be your choice whether you used the extra skill points or not....
Gamers like making builds..you can't do that if you get every skill..I understand wanting the power fantasy tho..which you will definitely have if you play on easy
@st3v3_00 yup...gun upgrades make the game easy on hard difficulty. I did deduction all the way and then engineering. Then focus and armor...I literally need nothing else with the proper gun upgrades.

Agreed, a new game plus would be great or some story dlc that allows us to keep our acquired skills from our playthrough from the main campaign. I managed to max out Armour, Vitality and Combat, Robo becomes really Tanky, The Armour and Vitality when both maxed out synergze well.
On my 3rd play through and biggest problem is that the best ic board is not accessible till towards the end of the game. It would be nice to replay with what you earned and add too it. Or at least give us all boards at the beginning and give 2X skill points on 2nd play through.
I probably died 20 times there so don’t feel bad about it.. I’d suggest switching around your Auto-9 and allocate into AP Rounds and single shot for accuracy, then later you can switch back to full auto or whatever you were using before

DEDUCTION: 10 The first couple chapters of the game are pretty easy, and you'll end up with at least a few more skill points before the end of the game

wow that didnt help - 2 skills then have fun. thats like helping your toddler to learn to walk then booting them out to get a job and house of their own.
First skill that needs 2 pts in it is the deduction skill. Then armor for the 80% bubble skill then focus to slow time. After that, cover and slowing time to hit who you want and to get off a couple shots before you get hit will save your butt. After that I'd go vitality to save a health kit or 2 by just using the fuse boxes. By then, you can do whatever you want cause popping the shield in and out of cover while being able to slow them when you come out of cover for headshots or extreme long range hits is too good.
It is impossible to max out all skills even with best play. I have seen walkthrough of a gamer who got nothing but A grades on every evaluation, fulfilling all missions and collectibles except 'cunning prisoner' at the prison mission (deemed unattainable glitch), he still could not max out all skills. the best skill fulfillment I saw so far is 6.6 out of 8 columns.
If i may i have a question. Can you return later to areas to get the stuff you had to leave behind because you did not have a high enough level in certain skills?
@@GamersHeroes Ohw i just mean to collect like engineer chests and clues you left behind. Those seem to remain stationary and areas where missions played seem to remain open afterwards.
I upgraded the armor all the way to max first because, Robocop was getting torn tf up man 😂 then I read what max Deduction does and focused on that, then Focus because of that damned bank heist and those cheating ass swat/ED-209's.

Honestly, I was expecting the option to replay missions to get secrets and whatnot, so thought I could max out that way, but nope :/
It makes no sense to get all points in a single play through as it kills replayability.

I upgraded the deduction to max in the beginning, because 30% more XP.
Same here, it works wonders, I don't bother upgrading the combat because the pcb gun can be OP once you get the right chips and modifications

Focus 2 is the bullet time this is good, armour upgrades are also useful alongside vitality for fuse box regeneration
Wish i would have seen this before i started..the locked safes ive had to leave because i didnt have enough points hurt my soul
Just walk around and scan everything, if there's a safe there's a nore or something wirh the combination on it somewhere on the same level.
It said on steam I could fully upgrade 7 of the 8 skills but I think I’ll split psychology with combat.
There is no way this doesn’t get new game plus or mission selection later.

Downtown you return to three different times, certain things remain. Otherwise, no, you cannot repeat missions or anything. It's quite odd.
