I just realized this after watching this for the fourth time. When Robert said, "most of the people in those photos are dead" and then when the camera cut to bill saying "I didn't think I'd make it pass 40." That's when it sanked in. These men been through so much. Like half their friends they met along the way either died from AIDS, being murdered for being gay and possibly took their own life. They probably lived there life in secrecy yet they are so positive.
The advice at the end tore me up 😭 "it's just a little speck" compared to the rest of your life. I get worked up very quick and this was such a comforting reminder to relax & not take life too seriously.

I just realized this after watching this for the fourth time. When Robert said, "most of the people in those photos are dead" and then when the camera cut to bill saying "I didn't think I'd make it pass 40." That's when it sanked in. These men been through so much. Like half their friends they met along the way either died from AIDS, being murdered for being gay and possibly took their own life.
