Very well structured. I’m not a huge fan of Ronnie at all, but I feel people need to stop throwing around past allegations that have legally been proven untrue. However, I still feel like making tasteless jokes about said people at times, making hypocritical remarks about other artists (Andy Cizek) or acting extremely immature about certain situations and attacking people who sometimes just voice dislike for his music is a bit much. You're so fucking close man. A couple minor discrepancies but this is the most accurate second hand account of the shooting I've heard. Me and Chase aren't brothers though, we're cousins and Max wasn't there my brother Randy was. Ronnie and Randy ran and hid behind the truck as soon as Michael Colquitt pulled out the gun and stuck it in my face and Chase pulled out my H&K USP 40 and was going to shoot him to defend me but my H&K has a manual safety unlike chase's Springfield Armory XD40 and Michael Colquitt saw Chase with the gun and went to shoot him while he was looking for the safety so I grabbed the gun and started fighting over it, Mike Cook attacked me from behind and Michael Colquitt fired 2 shots that missed me and thinking I was shot Chase shot them both 4 times each. Very good account anyway. Quite impressive.

No man, no legal trouble. You're allowed to stop someone from pointing a gun at your head. I did lose my truck and pool cleaning business because there were jurisdictional issues between Las Vegas and North Las Vegas and neither DA would release my truck, and Mike Cook's mom and the estate of Mike Cook tried to sue us and made some outrageous claims about the incident but nothing came of it.

But then I started watching his interviews, listening to more of his music, & totally changed my mind. Doesn't mean I support everything he's ever done or said- but neither does he! He's willing to admit his mistakes & is constantly trying to better himself. What more can we ask from anyone?...
Also, holy shit, I knew Bad Girls Club was about that situation with Sally. But I didn't realize #setmefree was something she actually tweeted... Wow.

⚠️I WILL ADD TO THIS PINNED COMMENT WITH ANY NECESSARY EDITS OR CORRECTIONS WHEN THEY PRESENT THEMSELVES⚠️
🚨(UPDATE 9/22/2023) Six Months ago I uploaded this video, and in 6 months many things can change. I stand by this video, and I stand by my perspective on almost everything. ALMOST.
I believed that it was possible that Ronnie, rather than being a bigot, was just misguided and uninformed. I no longer believe this. If constantly speaking on a subject, while also displaying a clear misunderstanding of that subject, isn't bigotry: then I don't know what is. Ronnie Radke is a transphobe, Ronnie speaks very passionately on trans issues, while not having the passion to do research on them. That is bigotry, and I fully stand against that. I have added a fundraiser to the Trevor project on this video in the hopes to correct this. Please consider donating :>🏳‍🌈🏳‍⚧🚨
    • at 6:36 I said Max Green was there for the fight. According to Joe Rader himself, in my comment section, he says Max was not there, rather his brother Randy was the 4th person in the party. You are our Modern Day version of Cinderella, sans the mice n shit, lol.
Seriously though, you really are the epitome of the Underdog overcoming. All the disadvantages you have surmounted to be where you are now, it's mind boggling!!!
I have also spent time incarcerated & your example gives me hope. Something I haven't had for far too long! Maybe some day I might, possibly, be able to redeem myself too, hopefully.
Thank you, again, for the gift of you! I feel it's only fair to warn you that:
No good deed goes unpunished. & giving me hope is one Hella Good Deed, so look over your shoulder.

Also I am friends with a trans woman, I was there for her during the whole thing. We started being friends when she was a very unhappy gay guy and you could see the difference in her mood and mental state once she came out and started to transition, you can't tell that she is transgender at all so people don't always understand that her pro trans posts are the worst place to leave nasty comments. Transphobia is hard to witness and angering even for me who is a cis woman, I can't even imagine how much that hurt her to see men that were hearting all her pictures tell her she's a fake woman.

Autistic gender-queer person here. Some autistic people choose to use the term "autigender" to describe their RELATIONSHIP to gender as an autistic person, it doesn't mean they actually identify as autism lol. Autistic people have like a way higher percentage of identifying as either trans or nonbinary than non-autistic people do. It's just a fact that I as an autistic person experience gender through a completely different lense than that of a non-autistic person, whether they be cis, trans or non-binary. Even cisgendered autistic people tend to feel displaced from the rest of their gendered peers due to the autistic experience (I could get way more into what the autistic experience is and how it relates to gender, but I'll save you that read).
I know that what you said was more of a throwaway comment, but I just wanted to add my two cents anyway, because while I appreciate the notion that people on the internet are willing to come to the defense of autistics because they believe we are being appropriated, it's actually queer autistics that get negatively affected by that misinformation the most. They've become basically the only targets, as people don't realise that it's a term we invented ourselves, meant for only us.

I'm a black trans woman, and I don't see how what Ronnie said is wrong!!! There have been multiple cases that rarely getting any attention beyond local news stations of Mexican and black kids who have committed school shootings, sure most of these shootings are more personal or often gang related. So although they may not commit "school" mass shootings, they do commit school shootings nonetheless.

My memory could be fuzzy, but I'm pretty sure Ronnie explained once that Sally attacked him and that he had to defend himself by grabbing her arms to stop her, to which she then wouldn't stop violently shaking, causing either her arm or his arm to hit her in the eye by mistake. I fully believe him because that same exact thing happened to me in a past relationship, me being hit, me grabbing the arms to stop the hitting without me attempting to hurt the other person, and then the girl being hit in the eye BY ACCIDENT because she wouldn't calm down. That same girl "fake called" the cops on me to scare me, unlike Sally, who actually called the cops on Ronnie with her bullshit. I don't believe for a second that he assaulted any woman and his current relationship more than proves that he wouldn't stoop to such abuse either. I encourage reading his book too if you can get your hands on it. I read it and it's basically his entire life story up until like the 2020's era, and even though it's a lot of what you might know, there's a fair amount of tidbits in there that made me go "Oh, really?! That puts things into perspective. Hmm." Thanks for this video. So sick of people trying to cancel him with lies. He's actually a wonderful person with issues just like the rest of us who has shown insane growth compared to the rest of the scene, and it's sad so many people try to lie about him and bring him down. He even tried to help save my mom's life 4 years ago. Dude is my hero.
Ronnie makes fun of himself now by the way, for the shitting in pampers. LMAO. Alone slaps live though.

I could be completely wrong here, so someone please correct me if I am, I read in that legal document he posted “Court finds that there is factual basis for defendants plea, and court accepts plea.” In order for the judge to accept the plea deal on the DV case, Ronnie had to prove that the alleged injury/injuries Sally sustained, were not INTENTIONAL. Which is why the domestic counts (01&02) were dismissed.

abt the educating others abt how being trans actually works: i’m friends with a lot of trans people including my best friend, and the issue here is the fact that they’ve spent years trying to. at this point and this age of such easy access to information surrounding it, it is not their job to constantly be understanding and passive when they’ve spent their entire existence being treated like less than human. same with POC as well, if you’re rude and unresponsive to basic facts about gender, racism, etc. you don’t deserve continuous kindness and people bending over backwards to explain things to you when you can easily google it but just choose not to.

He has went through so much in his life, both because of his own actions & also things out of his control, so it’s no surprise he has had his bad moments.

I went to Warped in '14 in Dallas specifically to see FIR and Get Scared, unfortunately they played at almost the same time so since I didn't have the money to buy the merch, I met GS and then went to the main stage to get as close to the front as I could early on while my best friend went to buy the merch to meet them. When she rejoined me, she said Ronnie had his daughter on his lap the whole time and he was really cool to everyone coming through. I never met him personally, but my friend said she had a great time meeting the band, and Ronnie specifically. The concert was great and I was so glad I got to see it (despite getting kicked in the face by a crowd surfer with a really bad sunburn). I don't believe that anyone is infallible, but I do believe that people can grow if they want to, and to me, it seems Ronnie has matured and grown through his hardships and I hope he stays that way.

My personal opinion about Ronnie is that he's not just a musical genius, but also a remarkable personality, he has some past misdeeds, but he has never been aggressive to women (and people in general), so I'd just drop all SA/DV accusations based on the lack of evidences + knowing his person. One thing that really irked me ig was the whole him getting into it with MIW, when he was not needed or had to do anything with it.

I believe they were caught with it once and Ronnie let it go, but they were caught again so he removed them from the tour. And there were probably other reasons too, but that's what I remember.

You make a lot of fair points, but as a trans person I’d like to comment more on what he’s said. It is transphobic, he has expressed clear issues with nonbinary people and that’s not cool. Also, I would like to explain autigender (“autistic gender”). This is a term used to describe the difference in experience of gender for those on the autism spectrum because research has found that those who are on the autism spectrum are more likely to be transgender. I think it’s also important to note that gender in its totality is a social construct and it’s about appearing and being perceived and feeling like whatever gender. Also, there are very very few people who genuinely say they are animals, but it shouldn’t matter. Why, because if it’s a mental issue, we should treat it with kindness and compassion to help the person be as comfortable as possible, if it’s not then we should also be doing that.

Though, Ronnie was also upset at fans in I See Stars' hometown, where they were kicked off the tour. I remember Sumerian making a huge fuss about it too.

my main problem with ronnie is that he refuses to admit he’s wrong.
the transphobia is the biggest issue for me because he goes on transphobic tiktok rants and refuses to admit to being transphobic because its “just an opinion” yet he claims that trans people shouldnt use the bathroom of their gender and thats trans women shouldn’t compete in sports that there’s only two genders etc.
“genderqueer” has been a term since the late 80s. people identifying with the absence of gender or inbetween genders is not new. people identifying as transgender is not new.
“transvestite” “transexual” “t girl” “t boy” “FTM” “MTF” are all terms that have been used for decades as this point as various ways to describe being transgender.
i don’t give bigots the benefit of the doubt. regardless of how new it is to someone that doesn’t make their bigotry okay when they make it a point to call out trans people and belittle them. it’s insulting that someone like ronnie can go on these tirades and be the type of self centered asshole he is and he still gets defended.
regardless of the lies people still say about him because they don’t like him that doesn’t negate his bigotry.
and you expect me to take you seriously as a cis person going on a random neopronouns rant while talking about transphobia? 😐
FURTHERMORE. i don’t have to make my existence palatable to bigots. its fucking ridiculous to assume that if trans people are just nice and assimilate into society and kiss cis people’s asses on how they want us to act and look that more people would be on our side. when people like matt walsh have literally said they’d rather die then have a transgender child you expect me to just conform to what people want me to be and be more “normal” fuck that. i’m not changing the way identify or the way i advocate for trans rights because right wing people are uncomfortable with my existence as a whole. people want “transgenderism eradicated from public life entirely” but i’m supposed to be normal and nice and pander to bigots? trans liberation will not come from me acting a certain way to please my oppressors.

I was gonna say, it sounds like a plea bargain. Defense will usually bargain a deal with the prosecution for a lesser charge. Definitely not an argument for innocence. If the defense felt he was innocent, they would've fought it. I'd have to ask my wife, she's the lawyer. I know a little bit from being with her for over twenty years, but I'm by no means an expert. Have no idea who Ronnie is it what he's actually done, but physically and mentally abusive people are shit.
Edit: just talked to my wife, and i was correct in my assessment. The defense likely felt that they couldn't convince the jury of reasonable doubt because there was some kind of convincing evidence that they felt they couldn't fight.

Lmao. Love that last line. All I can say for sure is that Ronnie is indeed an a*shole. But other than that I also don’t think he deserves the worst. Just deserves to be humbled and ‘stay on his lane and not talk about shit that he doesn’t know about’ ngl 😂 I’ve been a fan of his music, since like 2013 I believe. Ever since then I haven’t liked some of the shitty things he’s stated in certain songs when it comes to women but I mean, I just stick to the songs that I do like of him and don’t go in further to get to know him as person because I just don’t care. Also, no one is getting fired for saying “ there are only two genders” lol the transphobic woman who got fired was because she was actively misgendering her coworker and just being a discriminative b*tch to the trans person which is a pretty good reason to get fired. People like JK Rowling are just plain bigots and uneducated when it comes to trans people but I honestly find that argument so funny. But anyway, this is coming from a trans dude here so I would know lol

After this video was posted, in September of 2023, Ronnie supported CJ McMahon by offering $20,000 to him after Thy Art is Murder fired him for saying a mother who supported her child using different pronouns should be "burned to death." He then called for a boycott of the band.
My personal issue is no longer that he has different opinions about trans people. It's that he supported extreme violence towards someone for having a different opinion and raising their family how *they* see fit.
