@@_mark_787 Sorry for replying late. Didn’t see your message. To animate such kind of illustration you can animate it using Adobe After Effect. It is not that difficult. Thanks for asking hope it helps.
Let’s say you wanted to separate your lines and filled areas so that you could cut them out like puzzle pieces. I can do this by expanding the strokes, pathfinder, make copies and minus the front etc. it seems like a long way to do it. Is there a shorter way to take the drawing and chop it up to make a puzzle? I can use Illustrator to get things done but often times my workflow isn’t the fastest or best use of the tools.
First Thank you for asking. Most of the time I use the Shape Builder tool to make it much faster. You need to make sure you select them with the selection tool first. Then After expanding your strokes or even without expanding them you can use the shape builder tool to remove any pieces, and remember to hold on alt while selecting to delete. I hope I helped you and you got something out of it. Thank you again for asking.
I didn't use Compund path on this process video, But if you have any shape in your illustration with the same color that are not intersecting you can definitely use the command path. Thank you for asking.
Sorry! for replying late ... Yes I use a custom Layout, But I don't use fancy layouts. It''s all about being simple and easy to work with . Thanks for this Amazing!! question.
Nice artwork bro, but is there a way you can make this simpler and more easier for people who are interested in starting out designing of characters... But has no idea or little about the tools, how to sketch digitally but would love to embark on the journey... Can you make the video a little longer and more explanatory please?
Thanks for the question. You first need to choose one color, then find the dark and light version of the color you choose, then using the blend tool you can create other version of your color, then just play around with your layers.
Hi, recently discovered your channel which is super good. I struggle with character design. I couldn't get the head and body proportions right!! I mean even though some artist stylizing the the characters for example upper body is much higher than lower body, that wouldn't look odd. But if i try to do something like that. Mine looks trash. Your advice would be awesome, please help. Thanks.
Okay! Thanks for the kind words. To have a good proportions the method I use is like using the head as a measuring tool. Like three or four heads tall and however long your character you want it to be. After you have the overall proportion right You can enlagre the head however you want and the proportion won't be wrong. I hope this help I will try to create some shorts or full videos on it.
Thanks! For asking.. The sketch is made on paper but to illustrate it I used my mouse, it is not to hard or detailed so it can be done by a mouse easily.
