Dude , if your magnearon has stopped working you replace it, i would never state its not worth repairing, that`s the trouble with this day an age , throw away nation, You never advised checking for loose connections first, or checking other possibilities like the thermo cut out device on top of the magnatron with multi meter ,you can easily check the magnatron for fault, usually cracked magnet, You can pick up cheap enough parts these days to replace the damaged parts, I would always discharge the capacitor then test, electricians have died through trusting the trickle discharge, One important point remind people to unplug the device first ,some capacitors hold 2000 volts and this must be discharged do not rely on leaving it to discharge its self by leaving it a few hours or a day bad advice, also they must be warned about the transformer the power from the capacitor travels along to the step up transformer, this is also dangerous if touched in the wrong place, please if making a video like this please be more on point with the dangers what and where they are, I suggest to whom may be attempting this go and check other video on the the dangers in microwave be for attempting to poke around

I have a combination microwave that is powering up fine but does not heat. i have replaced the diode but l also want to replace the fuse, but am unable to locate it as it is not in an obvious place. could l possibly send you a picture of the inside of my machine together with the wiring diagram for you to help me locate it? i have contacted the manufacturer and they were no help! it is a combination oven, grill and microwave made by Belling. thank you pauline

From my understanding, the fuse is literally a fuse. You can just match the rating written on the fuse to any microwave fuse, it does need to be the same brand. There's two kind, slow blow or quick blow. Just read the number on the fuse and search for it.
The fuse is encased a black cylindrical plastic container, or a black tubular container or a white tubular container. Usually placed near the huge transformer or near the capacitor. Usual rating is 800mA.

I replaced my magnetron. Got it $50 off Amazon. Why do you say it’s gone if the magnetron is bad?
at that amount, i could already buy a new microwave, or second hand one. 😂
Because the magnetron hold radiation and will cause cancer if continuously handled

I know how to test a diode but most people don’t. I guess as cheap as it is you could swap it out whether it’s bad or not.

Replaced my diode but still not heading up...
Is there a way to test the diode to see if it is bad?
Yes. There are videos on youtube teaching that. Just search CL01-12 diode test and you will find
The other easy fix is resetting the thermal safety switches that sometimes pop.
