Yes but she was her biggest cheerleader in the last two dresses. She probably gave her 20 compliments - beautiful, gorgeous, stunning, etc.. And to be fair, no one on the couch liked the mermaid gown, mom was just the most vocal. Mermaids can work, it usually looks best with more boning, support either in the gown or under the gown.
This is genuinely the first bride I have seen out of hundreds in this show that i believe truly lives up to the word stunning.

Living vicariously through their children. Half of these mothers never had a wedding before (i.e. popping out kids too early, eloping, not being able to afford it, etc.), so they try to put their visions on their children.
Then they try to use the "since I'm paying for it, you really don't have a say so" line/ guilt trip on their daughters.
Save up your money young ladies, that way, no one can say anything when it comes to who's paying for your special day.

I'm not liking mama or god mama here. I don't think the bodice of the first dress suits this bride optimally, but they're completely wrong about their ball gown idea. I wore a ball gown to my wedding and looked like an elephant because I've got broad shoulders. I wasn't even overweight, just tall with wide set shoulders.

The first time I saw Lori with the longer hair, I didn’t recognize her - but in a good way! I think this new cut really suits her!! She looks like a younger, softer, and prettier version of herself!! I’ve seen various other comments complimenting her new look and I hope she reads them so that she know just how much we approve of the new haircut!

I agree with Valerie. The godmother was right that mermaid-style sometimes does not flatter the curvier women’s shape. There are curvy women who look stunning in the mermaid however not everyone will have that choice.

The thing I am the most amazed at is the colour of the last dress. It is in a PERFECT harmony with her hair, skin and eyes. It is really a feast, just looking at her and appreciating for once not the material, cut or embellishments of the gown, but just that fantastic harmony of colour.
I have watched about a hundred of these shows and never have I been so astonished at how amazing a bride looked that I physically GASPED when she came out in the last dress. Must say Monty and Lori both look FABULOUS!

Ballgown is pretty much always better on a big frame. So much better for defining a waist and giving making it appear there is the most attractive hip to waist ratio.
