Been going to this area of Florida for years. Very nice video, and professionally executed. But it seems that some type of lighting filter was used while filming or in production, as the water and sand look a bit off and the white homes in Alys Beach do not look white in the video, again off color a bit. The beaches in this area of Florida have some of the most beautiful crystal clear turquoise water and sugar white sand beaches in the world.
Great video! Do you know who I need to contact to get permission to fly my drone at the state park? I don't want to get a hefty fine mailed to me. 😬 I hear they are really cracking down on unauthorized flights. Thanks!
Then 30A is NOT for you. Most of these communities have HOAs, deed restrictions, very strict architectural standards, or all of the above. What you're seeking is a large tract of rural land.
The architectural and urban influences in Alys Beach is a mix of Dutch and West Indies, you can find those architectural elements in the ABC, and Bermuda (the whites and blues). This is nothing like Greek or Mediterranean architecture. Important to note that there is a huge death zone just in front, in the Gulf, caused by eutrophic water, this is the cause for the large volume of cellular algae, that sometimes turns the amazing clean emerald waters into a disgusting algae greenish. What creates those death zones in the Gulf is the contamination from the oil platforms, and the Mississippi river, that brings a massive amount of eutrophic water contaminated with fertilizer from farms across the country, and also from residues from animal farms. The best anyone can do to end this tragedy is to become vegan, and try to avoid ultra-processed and GMO food, and any food that's not organic. Electric mobility also helps to accelerate the end of those pesky oil platforms.
This video does not represent the actual reality of Rose Mary beach. If fails to mention spring break. We wanted to come here to admire the cute and quaint European community that most videos show. Not the case. I felt like I was at the entrance of Disney’s magic kingdom. Thousands of teenagers riding bikes on the sidewalks. Police presents everywhere which was quite intimidating. The way we understood from our waiter spring break is from February to April then summer starts. Very disappointed.

Gorgeous area! What percent live there full time? Or is it just filled with wealthy tourists?
That's a great questions. I am not sure what the ratio is.

This was great. I want to build. I just don’t want any HOA.

Is this a sanctuary beach, I'm coming up there instead of staying at encampment here in miami,
If you mean private, yes most of the beaches here are private

Malibu has nothing
They are beautiful but much too elitist. Not a fan of private beaches.
How else can you keep away the riff raff?
Right go to Destin or PC if you enjoy the degenerates.
Hmm, these first two towns have a kind of "foreign land" vibe....as if you were in a faraway country!!!
That was intentional. Seaside has a sort-of Key West style. RB adopted a Dutch Colonial vernacular. AB leans into a more Mediterranean vibe.
